Very short and not necessarily sweet but still good. Even though Mamaragan isn't technically dead his passing is still bittersweet. Although it will be difficult for Billy not to have his guidance at least he has Superman and therefore the rest of the Justice League to help him face what's coming next.
Sorry it took so long for me to read this but I've been super busy with work. Can't wait to read more!

While I'm not a big fan of the canon changes to Shazam (the wizard), you make it interesting.
So now Billy will have to do what he was chosen to do. I'll be waiting to see it.

Great interaction between Clark and Billy. He should make a great mentor for Billy.

At least Clark is trying to make amends. He's not overly great at it but he is trying. I hope everything goes well for Billy when he meets a new potential family. And since he now has Clark he can get help learning how to use his powers. Can't wait to read more!

So good. I'm glad Clark is finally starting to realize the error of his ways and that even the Wizard knows he's asking a lot of Billy. I really can't wait to see how Clark goes about making amends and whether or not Billy will forgive him.

So awesome! Superman shouldn't have over reacted but that's just how he is. This will obviously cause problems between him and Billy in the future. I don't care for the Wizard that much so I can understand Superman's reluctance. This so makes me think of Superman/Shazam: First Thunder. I really hope that Superman and Billy can work out their differences. Billy needs a role model or at least someone to take care of him. You've probably already got the end figured out but I think it would be cool if he adopted Billy.

So awesome! I love the spin you did on the Superman/Shazam: First Thunder part where Shazam asks Superman if they can talk. It was cool seeing Shazam discover some new aspects of his powers. I imagine Superman is a little wary now of Shazam but still hoping that he's just a good guy with a little too much raw power.
I can't wait to see what you come up with next. It's bound to be just as awesome as what you've introduced so far.

So cool! I feel sorry for Billy, not knowing what's going on as it gets closer to time for him to become Shazam. Throwing in Clark was a nice touch: he is one of Billy's favorite superheroes after all and he usually plays mentor (except in Clash but I refuse to count that). Over all a really great story that I can't wait to read more of. Keep up the good work!

This chapter was awesome. I feel so sorry for poor Billy and Freddy. Hopefully they can find a nice home together. Freddy is one of the few Marvel Family characters I actually like (when Mary isn't involved that is). At least Mr. Hayman seems like a good person (I usually get worried when new adult characters are introduced as there have been hints that Billy has been in more than one abusive situation). I certainly hope that you continue this story and I can't wait to read more!
