My goodness, it’s been a while since the last chapter! And now we have the “Harry and the twins hear top-secret stuff through an Extendable Ear like a good chunk of the other FMA/HP stories I’d read,” and even the one I wrote. All the same, good chapter, and I look forward to the next one.

Here’s my biggest issue with the whole re-write thing. You didn’t bother posting is anew and deleting the old one. Just because you say read chapter 18 that doesn’t mean anything. People are still going to read everything before that thinking it’s just a heads up that some of the writing will change over time. Because you left the cliff hanger with Roy under the imperio curse and attacking the Weasley dad. Then after that you start the re writing. It’s not fun for the readers to be left at that kind of suspense only to be thrown back to the beginning. This is my first time reading this fic and under re-write can mean anything. If you want to keep the old version on the site then fine but at least have the re-written version separate from the original. It was rather jarring getting to the suspenseful part and realizing there’s no more to it until the writer gets back to it after an entire re write. Sorry to sound like a jerk but it really started getting interesting only to be back at the beginning in the next chapter.

Why don't you just publish a new rewrite story or delete the old chapters instead of doing this weird 2 stories system? It would make things a lot easier for new and old readers.

While I never had an issue with how this story was originally written, I did enjoy this chapter. You actually used a similar motivation to what I used in my story, with the Ministry reaching out to other countries after the Triwizard disaster. I look forward to seeing where this story is going

Wow, I was a bit surprised when I heard you were re-writing it. However, after reading this chapter I definitely think it was worth it. The storyline feels alot more detailed and flows alot better. Also the introduction establishes a better connection between Amestris and Britian. The only advice I would have is that at one spot the sentences felt too choppy. However, I definitely love the way this chapter was written! Cant wait for the next one~
