I loved this story, especially the conversation between Clarisse and Eduard. And to be honest, I've always hated that green creation she wore to the wedding.

That was charming! I liked (among others) the missing shoes and the aftermath of Rupert informing his family about his illness and the cosmic breadcrumbs. Even Edouard's "selfish kind of happiness" was just right.

First of all, this was beautiful! Second of all, I love that you're writing again; it has been much too long since we've heard from you. I guess I can't say much since I haven't written either (a new fandom has caught my attention), but I'm glad you posted this. Okay, now to my points. Poor Joseph! I felt so bad for him at the beginning, after all, he can't help that she was meant for royalty and he wasn't. It's not his fault he was "the help" and definitely not his fault that he loved her. I liked when he "changed the script" and sat down with her for breakfast. So many good revelations in their breakfast chats I'm sure. I love that you brought up the Viscount and that Joseph had to save her...maybe a story about that in the future? I would love to see that! "A dowager queen and the man who would die for her." Oh, that line. I loved it loved it so very much! I also do not like the outfit she is wearing when she gets married...that off color greenish thing...she definitely needed something better so I love that you mentioned that! I really loved everything about your stories, but then again, I always do. I hope you'll consider a story about Joseph saving her from the horrible Viscount and thanks so much for writing again. Beautiful story!

First of all I am glad that you did another C&J. Secondly it was very good, love the sequel and I already remember the first story. Thirdly I hope against hope you will made my day with more stories between C&J. It was fun to imagine the violent end of the shooes, of course the rest of the story was not so fun, but it was touching.

I like that Rupert and Clarisse are faithful to each other, even though both of them are in love with someone else. I like playful Rupert, getting Joseph to eat breakfast with the queen. I also like Edouard’s friendship with Clarisse at the end. He’s an interesting guy, because he can be friends with her without a certain level of jealousy from Joseph. Joseph knows. Edouard seems almost to be sort of filling in for the absent Rupert. He’s different from Rupert, personality-wise, but he’s filling a similar role in Clarisse’s life when it comes to her flailing relationship with Joseph. Thanks for this lovely story.

Alright, so I couldn't wait until tomorrow. I did try, honestly I tried but was to excited to read it and I'm glad I didn't wait as it made me forget my awful headache I've had for hours so thanks for that, and thanks for posting.

It was different, not what I was expecting at all but I absolutely loved it. But, like I messaged you about before when Clarisse and Edouard sat down to talk I honestly thought it was going to come up as him being Philippes father. Never expected he and Rupert at all.
