I'm wondering if Reid is going to be alive by the end of the story. Maybe he'd be better off with a different job. There is so much more he could be doing with his mind.

Poor Spencer, to be honest I think the poor guy is totally overreacting. This is practically my life every single day at work and at home lol but at some point he has to learn that you have to take people for face value. Remember the big moments when they had your back and saved your butt. Not the little moments when they were caught up in their own lives and didn't speak to you. Poor guy hope he gets it all figured out soon! And I hope everyone realizes real soon that the new recruits aren't exactly helping matters any!

I feel for Spencer being depressed. His life is already a mess since he was a child and becoming adult just adds more. However, I think the team should be able to see that he is some kind of depressed as they are trained profilers and Spencer does not hide his feelings that much. Well, maybe since the depression is all in one's mind, it is quite hard to notice indeed. Hope Spencer would be happy and loved again and free from all his depressive thoughts in the future.

I think the previous reviewer nailed it on the head - Reid is suffering from depression (actual depression, not just being moody or sad). He's got the classic symptoms.

As for why no one on the team noticing him, I think it's all in his mind. He can decide to join his friends, and doesn't have to always wait until he's invited. This is not grade-school! There's this wonderful lunch-time phrase: "May I join you?" I used it when I started my new job, and now have new friends at the office - and not just in my own department.

This is so sad. I would be upset too with the whole elevator scene. It's like his team is forgetting about him. I know some stories have Reid leaving the BAU and taking one of the many job offers he gets. He just may be needing to get away and start all over again. He has so much to offer people. I'd like to see him find a woman who can see past the weird and just see how much good this man has to offer.

I wonder what is happening to Spencer. Is it another case or personal life or is he questioning his position in BAU?
