I am so happy that Adam is going with Jaz to New York. She has come a long way in dealing with her mental triggers, but she shouldn't have to go the rest of the way on her own when she has someone she can trust who wants to be there for her. And, I loved that he surprised her at the hotel, literally. But, he should have known better than to sneak up on our badass ninja, lol.

On my goodness, I busted up laughing at big, bad Dalton getting taken to the ground by a girl. Jax certainly showed her metal there.

I figured Adam might show up unexpectedly.

That joke about Adam possibly putting Jaz's plane under surveillance was cute. And, I'm glad Jaz is finally dealing with all of her levels of trauma. It is also nice to see that she is coping with being away from Adam for a few days in a much healthier way now. But still, I can't wait to see them reunite!

Don't get me wrong, I loved meeting more of Adam's family, but I am so glad it's just the two of them again! The love scene was worth waiting for. And, this conversation about Jaz's scars is way overdue. I am looking forward to it bringing them even closer together.

It feels wrong to tell you how amazing I thought this chapter was because of all the darkness it had, but you did a great job with it. You had a lot of the same thoughts about what happened in Jaz’s past as I did.

I absolutely loved the super-soaker game! Jaz finding some comfort in her ninja sharp shooter mode in a generally uncomfortable situation meeting more of Adam's family. And, little Emily kissing her knee scars, was so innocently cute that even I got a little teary-eyed! Great chapter!
