His WIFE. Wife. Her HUSBAND. Husband. Wow I just love how that sounds for these two love birds. It’s like last year before the movie when we found out they were married. All the same feels whether it’s an AU or the “real” thing. Great job! I love this story and what a beautiful ending!

Oh Gracie, with tears in my eyes, I write this comment! This story was perfection in the making! I will admit that when I first discovered fanfic, it was for the timeless fandom and I only read canon. I couldn't understand why anyone would deviate from the original characters. So, for months I quietly refused to read any AU stories until one day I noticed this story called 'First Steps' that kept popping up. I had passed over the fic for quite some time before I decided to just buck-up and read it and my world was turned up side down with your beautiful writing and exquisite storyline. You very quickly became a favorite author of mine and you have not disappointed in the least with every story you have given me. You and all of the other wonderful writers have given me the most enjoyable form of entertainment these past few years! Guarding My Heart has taken the readers on a fabulous journey through the lives of this AU Wyatt and Lucy. It has only gotten better and better. So many facets of your writing has developed and strengthened, while the lives of these characters have evolved and grown with each chapter. This fanfic fits so well into the Timeless (and Lyatt) universe. The last installment comes to a logical and emotionally fitting conclusion. There were many times this story could have ended, but the followers of GMH are lucky this story came to a logical closing. You could have ended; however, as Wyatt says, "Just say the word, Professor, and I'll slip the driver some cash and we are gone. Of course, we'd be leaving behind some pretty pissed [readers].” Any reader who gets past the second chapter will be hooked, and thankful for GMH’s continuation. Now, on to the next.

Truly amazing what a lovely final chapter to this fantastic story that I have so enjoyed. Hopefully you will continue to write new stories of my favorite ship.
