Please please update soon, I really want to see how this story turns from the current passive aggressive/possessive/amusing phase to the kinda like/possessive phase (or whatever phase it would be when Ciel realises that he likes Sebastian a bit too much or when the demon realises that he is a bit soft for his master.)

I love this piece of writing unabashedly so, it's so well written and the plot is amazingly familiar yet so different that it makes it feel refreshed, like a breath of fresh air. I do enjoy this feeling of anticipation around every corner of dialogue, truly a master piece in its own rights. Although I strongly dislike the ship (for several obvious reasons) I am loving this story so far! I don't know what intrigued me to click it, since this isn't my style of reading, but I'm glad I did. You managed to capture their characters amazingly and the storyboard just fits so well! Not to mention the writing is flawless with barely any grammar errors and miscommunication, and everything just flows perfectly. Again, I don't like the ship but I think I fell in love with ur storyI look forward to seeing more, I spent a whole day binge reading this!

I am soooo horrified that this story has been going on so long and I haven't been either on your list of review replies already! I am absolutely smitten with this story! It's like you've been a storyboard writer since the beginning, they are so in sync with each other and in character! The story itself is freaking fabulous, it has given me hours upon hours of joy just reading it and picturing the setting, the facial expressions, and the tone of voice. I can't WAIT for the next chapter, you have no idea! Also, and not to sound presumptuous in the slightest, but your writing is good, too good actually and I hope you are also aspiring to really publish something because you have what it takes. If you want, for nothing at all I would be more than happy to comb through your chapters with a fine-tooth comb before posting to check for any misspellings and the like. I did notice a few (only because I've read each chapter multiple times lol) and though it doesn't really make a difference, I really want others to be as dazzled as I was by your writing as soon as they read this. Truly, you have really made my entire weekend just by writing this and I just want to share how thankful I am that you are continuing to post! Great job!

Thank you for another great chapter. It was definitely worth waiting for! It is interesting that the chapter started with Sebastian telling stories of his past to prove that he will protect Ciel “despite the unexpectedness or grandness of any attack." And in the end Ciel basically proved him wrong faking his own death.

Love to read all dialogues between those two, Ciel tries to choose words very carefully to maintain the right dynamics between them.

I have noticed that they were not hiring dance teacher this time, Ciel prefers to stick with Sebastian? ;)
And what kind of criminal was Mrs. Wordson?

It looks like Ciel’s crush is getting stronger as he tries so much to impress his demon and to be remembered by him in eternity.

Sebastian asking about the concept of attachment is really intriguing, we are starting to understand what is bothering him.

I think I missed a chapter, sorry about that. I LOVED this chapter, the constant ups and downs of the games. I'm glad it ended in a draw and I found the questions asked intriguing. Ciel wants to be remembered and Sebastian wants to understand emotions...I look forward to seeing how this all turns out.

I read all of this in one setting, from chapter one, and I *really* need to sleep, so pardon if this review feels like the nonsensical babbling of a sleep deprived fool (because it is).

I saw this story, read the title, read the summary, and it seemed so innocuous, so in line with what was to be expected of a Kuroshitsuji work. Same old premise, just another way of telling it. And yet, it somehow picked my interest, and I decided to give it a chance, expecting some mindless entertainment, something to occupy my mind for as long as I was reading it and then promptly forget.

Said expectation was spit on, violently thrown against a wall, and stabbed 37 times in the trachea. And then set on fire. And the remnants were set on fire too. It's kneecaps were stolen. It's wig snatched. It's toes nowhere to be found. A tragedy.

The dialogue is so natural, the emotions feel SO raw, and every single interaction feels so in-character, I felt like I was watching Kuroshitsuji again, but this time reading it, and with a deeper hindsight of the main character's thoughts. THAT'S how immersive it feels! You've managed something amazing: retelling events while keeping the readers at the absolute edge of their seats. Things I hadn't spared a single thought to while watching the series, you have given them a new, exciting depth. The things you've added, the things you've changed- re-watching the series will now feel dull compared to what you have created here. It's beautiful, it's endearing, it hurts, and it makes me feel so much. So much. I couldn't help but devour chapter after chapter. Absolutely delicious.

As far as I'm concerned, everything you've written here is canon (in my head).

I want to say more, so much more, but this comment is getting embarrassingly long, and yet I've somehow managed to not express even the tip of the iceberg of what I want to say. God damn.

I hope life is treating you well. Please take care of yourself, RL can be a tricky little bitch, especially during these times, so make sure pull a Ciel and throw hot tea on its face to remind it who is in charge here. And for when you have the time, the motivation, and the inspiration, be sure I will be patiently (hungrily) waiting for a continuation on this beautiful thing you've created. I'd love to see where this will go. You talented little thing, you.
