I cannot understand these people who refuse to even entertain the idea that Loki was at LEAST brainwashed. I mean there's so much evidence. I think it may have to do with their pride. They never noticed Loki was a victim, and they've been imagining him the villain all these years. They've basically been looking at how the heroes see Loki, and seeing him that way. They're too simple minded to see the obvious comtext.

Oh my heart... there is something so viscerally real that you've managed to capture with this fic.

I love how you're taking the Avengers film in a completely different direction. I also like your interpretation that Loki was being controlled in part by the Mind stone. After watching Endgame, I started rewatching all the movies, especially all the ones with Loki in it, and the more I thought about it, the more this theory makes sense.

Personally, I think of Odin as someone who wants to be a good father, but is utterly terrible at it (three for three on his children going off the deep end). I like what you've done with Loki's time in the Sanctuary (we have nothing of that in the MCU). Please continue!

I have seen a bunch of fics which theorize (with good evidence) that Thanos was manipulating Loki, but yours is definitely one of the better. Special points for his POV on what happened when he had the throne. Do need to address more the issue of sending the Destroyer and attempted genocide of course

I like all the layers of unreliable narration ;) it's a neat thing to slog through. And you're right about that line from TDW! I hadn't thought about that in a while. I wonder. Loki didn't seem half as shaken by Odin's 'big reveal' in Ragnarok as Thor did. I wonder how much he knew.

He did hint about Odin's past when he was talking with Frigga in Dark World. But I do agree with you about Odin's "No, Loki". He was telling him he didn't have to prove anything. That is why he said in Ragnarok that he loved both of his sons. He meant it.

I was wondering who Corona was. And, yeah, they should have used Supergiant in the movie.
