This story is truly excellent. Well-written, all the characters are handled nicely, and the emotions in the piece are just perfectly done. This is truly sweet. It's probably too much to hope for considering how old this story is (I'm a bit behind the times it seems), but I hope that you'll consider writing another Edge/Rydia story at some point. Heh. I read this up on RPGFan Fan Fiction- I dare say I loved it. Though towards the end it got kinda cheesy, lets say the beginning really caught my attention and deepened my love (and imagination) for this unruly couple.

You've talent! If you have any spare time for doodles on word document you should make another Rydia/Edge fic. Now that FFIV is re-released you might get more attention than before by writing another in-character fluff!

I just wanted to leave this review for you-I read this and honestly felt like you'd taken the words right out of my mouth! Bravo! I could quite possibly be one of the most FFIV obsessed people on the face of the planet, but I'm sure you've heard that all before. Anyway, the game came out when I was in kindergarten and was the first fantasy adventure I'd ever come across. As you can imagine, that's where my attachment to this game came about.

And Edge was always my all time favorite character, Rydia a close second, and I was horribly disappointed with the ending...so disappointed. And then I found this fanfiction and couldn't stop reading it. This is genius, truly! But I won't just blather on about how much I liked it for a little. There were some spelling errors and wrong tenses and all that, but that's probably something you caught from other reviews and other than that, I felt the story was tight.

haha, my favorite line though, "and a toast to the mad scientist, or whatever he is, of Baron!" "I'm a mechanic!" "Yeah, whatever!"

perhaps my favorite Edge moment of the game is when the group finds Cid in the underground and he and Rydia start to argue...that line reminds of that. Anyway, great work and the ending was marvelous! Are you considering writing another fanfic. about FFIV? I think you've really got something good going here!
