Super Lame fight tbh

Your rushing your story. You said that you wanted to put emphasis on Naruto’s emotions, but you don’t show them. This chapter was explaining everything that happened. Not showing it. We didn’t hear anyone truly express themselves. The Wave Arc was a pretty important time for Naruto that actually set the foundation of who he would grow to be. I hope this isn’t how the other chapters are going to be. Also, what parallels are you referring to? We’ve only had two chapter with Kakashi and he’s shown no attachment to Naruto. They have no relationship outside of teacher and student while Zabuza’s and Haku’s relationship is much deeper. If you had wanted to do as you said you should have taken the time to develop the bonds of Naruto and those around him. Then it would have made sense for Sasuke to awaken his Sharingan after seeing Naruto’s supposed death, because again you haven’t written anything between them.

Excellent chapter! I hope Naruto learns plenty enough with Jiraiya unlike in canon. But I digress.

I really enjoyed this. And am definitely looking forward to more! It’s also nice to see Naruto has moved on from his crush on Sakura, yet still wanting to be close friends with her regardless. How cute!

I also nearly burst a lung when you had Gaara make his "mental checklist" lol.

Wow! This was awesome! I loved it all! Don’t worry about school though pal, focus on the here and now. That’ll make things better. But I digress.

The whole fight between Sasuke and Naruto was quite a good one. It was also a lot more believable seeing as Naruto had other techniques to rely on instead of just the Rasengan and Kyuubi’s Chakra. I also liked how you added the Indra and Asura "echoes/visions" when the two clashed. Very impressive. I’ve a feeling Naruto will be trying to figure out what it all means down the line.

I feel a little worried for Konan now though. Zetsu was able to record and see everything that happened between the 1st VoTE battle and saw Naruto use the Dance of the Shikigami Jutsu. What will he do with this knowledge? I also wonder, what about Naruto’s promise to Sakura? Or his loyalty to her should I say? What will he do and what will SHE do? The suspense is already getting to me!

And to wrap everything all up, I have to say I loved the character interactions too. Very well done. UPDATE THIS AGAIN SOON PLEASE!

Ughhh, why did you do the canon rails thing and let Sasuke win? Like, honestly, Naruto has been holding back this entire time not using an entire skill set that Sasuke has any knowledge of, it does not seem right, fair, or plausible for Sasuke to win.

Here's hoping Tayuya doesn't get tortured. She is one of my favorite characters.
