In addition to being beautiful, they are also terrifying to behold, so much so that their messages are usually prefaced by the exhortation "Do not be afraid." As for physical appearance, their skin is like bronze, their eyes like fire, and their faces like lightning. Their garments are as white as snow, blindingly so. Their voices often sound like that of a multitude and are akin to rushing waters. Overall, angels are really freaking scary, but they do possess an ethereal, austere sort of magnificence. |
