I was wondering your thoughts on my quick assessment of Percy Jackson's sorting, and if you agree with my logic. I saw you commented on Marisandini's Sorting Percy Jackson, so here were my thoughts:

Necessity makes Percy cunning. But loyalty makes him brave.

Percy is a Hufflepuff... here's why (in my honest opinion):

Most of you wouldn't run into a burning house just to say you were brave enough to. But if your father, your mother, your sister or brother, your aunt or uncle or cousin, your kids or grandkids were stuck inside? You wouldn't even hesitate. Not because you're brave, but because you are terrified of the alternative.

Percy doesn't do things because he's brave, but rather he's terrified of losing Annabeth or his mom, his family, his friends. The very thought of losing those people he holds close to his heart is petrifying. And he would do anything to ensure that doesn't happen. Even falling into hell, or, as 'Athena' said it in the books, sacrificing the world.

His fatal flaw his loyalty, and his loyalty makes him brave.

So, agree? Disagree? What are your thoughts?
