Man, I know I have done a few reviews already, but I just have to say this story has ramped up from a genial school-centric plot with fun Science into a chaotic national war beautifully. It has been a great building transition and I like how the strain of the conflict is starting to finally wake Harry up. Hopefully he will start to become formidable now that he knows the Ministry will turn on him so easily. The magical artifacts are really well done and I think you are writing in the ancient magic part of Hpmor in a good way. It’s hard to keep track and I will give this a continuous re-read at some point but I wonder if there is a chance Harry will ever be able to contact Voldemort again and he will become involved in the plot somehow. Anyway thanks for keeping hip with this, it has turned into a really epic story!

I just binge read the story and have caught up at chapter 58. I didn't attempt to keep notes of small typos but one consistent mistake stood out. I want to mention it in case you want to correct it or at least avoid it in the future. If you search for the phrase "pour over" unless it is the rare case of someone pouring syrup over pancakes mostly you will find that it should be "pore over" as in to pore over a book.

I don't know why people like Archleone bother to leave such stupid reviews. It's not like they're paying you or anyone is being harmed in the slightest. The internet is full of things far worse, that should legitimately be removed (eg racist hate speech, inviting violence etcgo complain about that instead. They don't seem to get the point of fanfiction.

I, for one, am grateful to you for this story, even if I haven't figured out any of the clues and have no idea what is coming. I'm the sort of reader who is happy to be carried along with the story, not trying to predict things. I like this version of Harry who doesn't always "win" everything.

As most fan fictions of other fan fictions go, this story is really irritating to read.

And the idea that you think little notes explaining singular concepts at the end of chapters is enough to make up for not reading the entirely of that overly long story you're basing this on is really funny.

People who have not read MoR will have no fucking idea what is going on. Hell, I read it and I barely know what's going on because that was years ago.

The summary is necessary.

Well, it's necessary because this story exists. I'd much rather that this story wasn't a thing in the first place. The problem with fan fiction is that it is never written well enough to exist as a real mystery or a "puzzle". That sort of thing relies on the idea that the writer can be trusted to not be a fuck up and will actually think things through and plan things sufficiently before feeding it to the reader.

I have no faith that you are capable of doing that. If you could, why would you make a fan fic of a fan fic instead of your own original idea? Hell, I wouldn't trust that arrogant asshole who originally wrote MoR to do so either. That story stopped being engaging around 1/3 or 1/4 through it. And you're trying to copy that same style that made the story absolutely annoying to read and not at all worth the time. Not that these words would stop you.

Wow, the angst! Riveting portrayal of Harry's neurotic nature haha. I hope they are able to figure it out. Probably when Hermione reflects on things she will realize the divorce of his parents are a huge influence here. Interested to see what comes next!
