Hahah the burrito! Loved it. Quick question; doesn't their armor have their jet packs on it? So why cross the ice when they could fly over it? Even if he went up high (to prevent melting the ice) and swoop down to grab the kid.

Awww this was so cute! Also I really want fanart of the Polari because they sound fricking adorable! I'm a freaking sucker for Shance whether platonic or romantic and fluffy Shance is a sure fire way to warm what remains of my heart. I love the fact that the Polari cuddled up to Lance while Shiro was trying to get him to the castle so they could keep him warm. I almost want a follow up fic where Lance and Shiro get to thank them. I think it would be disgustingly adorable. One of my favourite fics you've ever written!

Ok, so after miraculously finding that amazing fic of yours about Lance being enslaved in the mines on a foreign planet, I find out you have like 1000 other Voltron fics that all look amazing? I wasn’t even sure where to start, but I picked this one and was not disappointed. Now to binge all of your others

Shiro and Lance bonding? Cuddling? Crying Shiro? Sign me up! (Terrible, I know. But...they’re kinda my hopeful brotp. You know, after Shiro and Matt. But I think Lance and Shiro’s friendship is gonna be much more relevant than Matt and Shiro’s...which both mostly exist in fanon unless ya bother to literally analyze every freaking frame and scrap of dialogue...but mostly frames. C’mon, s7!)

...so, dunno if you do requests or not, but could you explore Lance and Shiro discussing the Voltron-scape thing post s6? Because...I dunno if we’ll actuallh get to see the writers resolve “Lance was warned by both but didn’t realize...” and he’s gonna have BUCKETS of guilt about that. BUT. Lance DID hear Shiro, and the others DIDN’T (heck, KEITH didn’t until he jumped inside BlackLion...to save Shiro. Despite the s3-s4 gap). And I think Lance hearing KuronShiro out twice in s5 (and prolly more during the s5-s6 gap) had a LOT to do with how much calmer and kinder KuronShiro was able to be in s6. They even continue to play another MnM game with Coran...so yeah, I’d like to think that they were becoming friends. And Restored Shiro’s gonna remember all of that. (And I dunno what more Lance could’ve done, anyway, other than continuing to support his teammates. Bring his “Shiro concerns”/“I heard Shiro but Shiro doesn’t remember it” to the others? But, that’d involve breaking someone’s confidence, and for all his faults Lance is NOT the type to do that, especially to a guy with massive trust issues, anyway.)

I’m so late to the party, but here’s my thoughts on this wonderful one shot anyways.

Something about Lance saving a child like that is so cute. I know that I always go on about how unselfish you make him and how much I love that, but that's because it's true, and it’s the most precious thing.

It’s ridiculously hard to find any fanfictions out there with Lance and Shiro that’s not Shance (and whatever the ship name is for Lance x Shiro x Keith). I’m sure that you would be just as good at writing ship fanfictions, but right now it’s so nice that you write cute friendships instead. This fandom really needs it with all it’s shipping wars.

I’m impressed by your description of falling in ice water! I’ve never been completely under ice, but I have dipped a leg or two (by mistake, I might add) during the winters, and it’s not nice. You can that your body is dangerously shocked by just that, so I say no thank you to falling in with my whole body. Still, you are always so good at depicting panik, and you did that beautifully this time as well.

You taught me a few new things about what can happen to the human body today. And I totally felt Shiro when he started to panic because he didn’t exactly remember what to do in that situation. It’s my worst fear to have to make a decision when someone’s life is on the line, and I would definitely react in the same way.

And awww a burrito. I am so impressed by your ability to make my heart twist and then make me smile just a few moments later. Every story ever, real or not, should end with cuddling and smiles!

Random thought: when the rest of the team gets back, do they form a cuddle pile?
