Dark-Prince-of-Clowns chapter 12 . 8/14 Ron bullies -or at least ridicules- Luna, think she's a weird freak, and now suddently they're dating? /facepalm HOW did that happen? Okay. I will admit he WAS desperate for a partner, but he DID manage to find someone in his own house in the end. (And Ron is even more ademant than most on never setting foot outside Gryffindor in search for friends. He hates, despise or find the other houses pathetic or just irritating/stupid.) I'm a bit sad Harry didn't rape Hermione. Not only would it be interesting, but the subconcious effects would make her a far less irritating person. (A.i. she's jump at people touching her, making her less likely to invade other people's personal space. She's be quiet and uncomfortable at drawing attention to herself, making her pipe down her holier-than-thou attitude. And so on. Plus, she'd be scared for life and have no clue why, which she'd be desperate to figure out what was wrong... which would be hillarious. _) |
Jimbocous chapter 20 . 8/10 Thanks. Just keeps getting better. |
Leroy519 chapter 1 . 3/29 Too dark. I tried. Very well written tho. |
Dark-Prince-of-Clowns chapter 20 . 10/23/2019 Overall you are brilliant, but this chapter have one SERIOUS logical flaw. Harry did NOT see his mother die and told Dumbledore about it in your fic. Therefore Dumbledore do NOT know that Voldemort gave her the option to step aside, as Harry is the ONLY witness to this. Which makes it impossible for Dumbledore to conclude she sacrificed herself for him. (Beyond the hiding, trying to protect and being found dead in front of the crib.) I wouldn't put it pased him to conclude love was the only power Harry seems to have that might defeat Voldie, after years of contemplation and wild guesswork... but it would be nothing more than conjuction based on a compleate lack of evidence, and would make everyone else laugh at the ridiculusness of it. |
Dark-Prince-of-Clowns chapter 10 . 10/23/2019 I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but according to the autor herself, Draco DO know Occulmancy. He was, in fact, fairly skilled in it before he even started Hogwarts. Just in case you decide to re-write it one day. There exists some page or other that has a ton of info about the HP world that J.K. Rowling hasn't published in her books or anything, but has let out in some other way. (Usually in an interview. Like the one where she states that the defenition of Dark (magic) is 'spells that hurt people'. I don't remember the exact words, but she was kinda vauge. Lol. By her defenition, Diffindo and Bombarda are Dark magic.) |
Dark-Prince-of-Clowns chapter 8 . 10/23/2019 I am eternally amused at norwegian xmass food being served for Halloween...and daily at Durmstrang. xD Poor Harry. He should have had Krumkaker instead. Or Sylte, since you have other xmass foods. Lol That aside, your norwegian accent was pretty good, if that was what you aimed for. Except the 'yes' at the end of the sentence where a 'right?' or something might have been better, which tilted it more towards russian. (Possibly russian. My russian is crap. Lol) (And I presume wizards in the area doesn't normally speak english. Most modern norwegians sound like they're from...is it michigan or wisconsin that has that norse accent again? Lol. But almost all norwegians below the age of...80 speaks english fairly well. That being said, I am really quite enjoying this fic. I have to see if you have more Dark Harry fics when I'm done with this one. |
moomoogoat chapter 20 . 7/1/2019 Harry’s responses to AD… were completely unsatisfactory. Very dead give away. “I wonder who’ll raise a Goblet for you?” - Hot damn this was chilling. Good work. All in all another strong year, focused heavily on development of events. Couple things that bothered me this book: Incompetent Dumbledore as I’ve said before. Tri Wizard Tournament returning didn’t add anything, just was rehash. Perspective shifts are honestly so damn good. It’s really been a joy this “Year 4” to see how things progress from different POV’s. Probably the strongest part of this work. All in all a damn good showing. |
moomoogoat chapter 19 . 7/1/2019 The memory from Ron’s POV about Percy is excellent. Wonderful job. Dumbledore keeping secrets? Glorious :) |
moomoogoat chapter 18 . 7/1/2019 Freaking hypeeee. And the wait was worth it, what a kick ass way of announcing his return. |
moomoogoat chapter 17 . 7/1/2019 I’m honestly super curious about the history of GG; it’d be fascinating to hear about him through the eyes of someone who served him. The “Vineyard” is honestly super freaking cool. I’d love a one shot about it. Really really really creative thing you’ve got there deserves much more than a mention or two. Like legit, needs to be more than just this. Such a sick and awesome idea. |
moomoogoat chapter 16 . 7/1/2019 Very nice, both Moody and Albus actually moving forward with something meaningful. This interlude does have lots of actual longevity :) |
moomoogoat chapter 14 . 7/1/2019 I honestly think Snape (even with the vow) makes a rather decent case for Harry actually serving the Dark Lord. This was rather eloquent. Very nice. |
moomoogoat chapter 13 . 7/1/2019 “Voldemort destroyed his childhood” - I think Harry has made it clear who he blames. Dumbledore and the idiot ball are nigh unbearable. Ginny’s insight is a nice little insight, although I doubt it will amount for much. Dumbledore’s trust in Snape is blinded way too much. More little hinting at deep cover operative :) |
moomoogoat chapter 12 . 7/1/2019 Allaying Granger’s fears…. Hmm. Does this come back to matter in the future? Nice exchange with Sirius, he's gotten noticeably more at ease with him. |
moomoogoat chapter 11 . 7/1/2019 Ah yes Gellert. Very nice little hinting there. Albus's plans seem to be a whole lot of nothing, but their operative... is very effective in time iirc |
