So Monsters Within was the very first fanfic I ever read and to this day, it's still my favorite. So I was absolutely ecstatic to stumble upon this little oneshot years later!

I know it's been years and years since you posted it (hell, it's been years and years since anyone REVIEWED it) but I loved it dearly and wanted you to know.

I adore your clever use of foreshadowing the plot of the show and your portrayal of Zim as a smeet. Oh my goodness, this gave me some major feels! Poor Zimmy!

Not to mention, your depiction of Irken culture and machinery is absolutely incredible and beautifully described! I love how creative you get with it!

Anyhow, since it's not posted here anymore, I also wanted to take a moment in this little review to thank you for writing Monsters Within. To this day, it's been one of those fics that I sometimes go back and revisit on DA. Especially on rainy days when I could use a good story! Invader Zim has always been a special part of my childhood and it's carried through to adulthood as well. In fact, your writing actually helped inspire me to become a fanfiction writer as well!

I know Invader Zim might not be one of those things that you're super involved in anymore, but you should know that your writing still continues to touch those of us in the fanbase! So thank you!

That was awesome! I loved it! This should have been an actual episode, and I think it should have been written into the script of the trial. Seems like something that would definitely happen in the show.
