I need to know how James and Lily survived. I'm totally down for that and I need more. I need more of James and Lily raising Harry.

Lily punching Vernon is the greatest thing I've read in a while. Asshole got what he deserved. And Petunia trying to make excuses for the conditions Harry had to live in. Ugh. I wish Lily would've punched her too. The flirting between James and Lily after she punched Vernon was adorable.

And Harry. Omg my heart ached for Harry. Just Lily and James taking him away from Petunia and Vernon is wonderful. Poor kid, never tasting ice cream before. That's a shame, really. I just have a lot of feelings about this.

Awwwww omg this is so freaking cool can you please make this into like a multi chapter fix with them moving back into Godric’s Hollow, reuniting with Remus and Sirius (he’s free!) and bringing down Wormtail please please please I will totally read it and leave reviews every chapter

Oh my gosh this was so sweet, and a scene that is so deserved. I loved Lily and James, how they were nice at first, I always thought highly of Lily and I liked how you wrote her. Whenever you switched perspectives I thought was appropriate, and it was neat to see Harry so excited to meet his parents and have such hope.

Lily’s reaction was fun too, punching him right in the face haha! James was also very protective and both of their reactions to everything I thought were just right. Even Vernon I hated, and rightly so. The part where Lily kept correcting him was greatSo sweet, this really was beautiful! The emotions were perfect and how she just wanted to hug Harry, awww

I love the opening and how you've described Lily in the coma, the only thing is I think it needed to be clearer that both of them were in a coma because I was very confused when James was there too.

Lily's building rage is fantastic and I love that she didn't use magic instead she just punched Vernon in the face. It did feel very Lily to do that. And all the interjections of 'Harry' when he said 'the boy' were beautiful, and how Lily and James reacted to Harry being kept in a cupboard and the Dursleys' treatment of him was perfect.

I just need more of this immediately. I need to see them raising Harry and how he reacts to magic at a younger age and with his parents and just it's so much yes.

This concept is fascinating to me. It hurts my heart to know that little Harry had to spend five years with the Dursleys even though, rationally, I know that's still better than all the years he had to spend with them in canon. I'm surprised they told Petunia that Lily and James were dead instead of that they were in a coma.

There are tears in my eyes from this story. Wow. Harry's reaction to suddenly being faced with his parents again and being embarrassed, even at six years old, about sleeping in the cupboard. Its so sad, and you handled it wonderfully. The ending had me smiling even though I was still tearing up. It left me feeling really hopeful about Harry's future with his parents.

Awww! I'm loving the first chapter! Can't wait to see how you continue with this story and how Harry would grow.
