This story was beautiful!:-) Thank you for writing it and sharing it with us. I loved the whole climax (especially the part since Fin's confrontation with Ben) so very much!:-) The theme of 'not winning by fighting what we hate, but by saving what we love' and 'preferably subduing the enemy without fighting' is something that I believe to be utterly true so you embracing both of these themes in your fic really struck a chord with me ... I personaly need Ben to be willing to sacrifice himself to save everyone to be able to fully believe he's redeemable so I'm glad he was willing to in this fic. I also completely adored the scene with Leia at the end. You gave that enormous moment justice. It was very emotional, as it should be.:-) I personally hope the creators of episode IX will be able to think up a story at least half this good. If not, I will always have your fic.;-) I'm very much looking forward to your future stories!:-)
