First, thank you so much for sharing this story. They're my official crackship from this show and I definitely believe their relationship could work. It's amazing how you came up with this story, I believe you captured their voices and characters very well. I came into the fandom so late, but had I known about this show early on, I'd be sooo rooting for Howard and Amy to be together. I especially love the line, "He was an engineer. It was his job to recognize when two parts fit together..." That's perfect and beautiful. Thank you again.

Howard and Amy make such an underrated couple. Romantic or not. I feel like the showrunners are marginally aware of it, but refuse to look further into in case they have better chemistry than their actual canon partners (this coming from an avid Shamy shipper, and someone who thanks Bernie for having the tenacity to keep Howard under control lol)
