Why doesn't Harry just suggest to Voldie to make an unbreakable vow, both of them, to never harm eachother?

While Voldemort likes to pretend he believes he will win, deep down, he's terrifyed. If he wasn't, he would ignore Harry. (Admittingly, he would have had a few rage-fits when Harry got in his way, but thus far it is only once -that he knows of- and Harry was 11. I'm sure even Voldemort would have gotten over that one by now.)

Thus Voldie will see a glorious chance and do it. (While thinking he can still order his servants to take him out. Never mind that most of them can't seem to find their own ass with both hands.) In Voldies book HE gets the best deal.

Harry, on the other hand, have an ace up his sleeve. High Wendeego and all.

There is no way in HELL dumbledore have ANY say in where Harry spends his hollydays. If he wants to go home for xmass, he can.

The ONLY reason he obeys dumbles idiotic orders in canon is because dumbles act as if he has the right to command him around, and because the dursley's never allowed him to think or choose for himself.

In fact, why does he even ask? Nobody else asks. Ever.
Think back to youd school. Did anyone, EVER ask if they could go home for xmass? I mean... provided you went to a boarding-school... (I forget that not everyone do. )

I've gone to two different boarding schools, and non of them required more than to sign up for it, purely so the teachers knew who was there and not. (Purely mainly for how much food to make, and in case of emergency.)

I doubt Hanibal and Especially Will, will let Harry stay away from home on a family hollyday. That would be horribly OOC.

In adition dumbledore is not remotly powerful enough to pull that kind of crap. He has numerous enemies that would happily use it against him, Draco's daddy dearest being on the top of that list.

Fyi: According to Rowling, Draco already knew Occulmency when he came to Hogwarts at age 11. (Tho she didn't specify how good he was, just that he knew it I think. ...She might have said he was 'skilled', on second thought.)

Why does he name his owl Hedwig?
The snow-white owl he had in canon is almost guaranteed to be sold by the time he gets an owl, btw. But the owl didn't exactly come with a name either.
Hedwig was taken from A History of Magic. WHY does he use a random name in a first-year book, now that he has MANY other influences as to what name to choose?

interesting chapter. i enjoyed your version of how PETTIGREW escapes. it makes a lot more sense than the book version. fantastic work on this chapter. i like this slightly more competent MINISTER , he's better in this story than in his dumb cartoonish villain counter part in the books. i honestly think that if the MINISTRY workers are as truly incompetent as J. K. ROWLING makes them in the books , that the MINISTRY would have fell a long long time ago , before TOM RIDDLE was even born. anyway UPDATE SOON. STAY SAFE , STAY HEALTHY. TAKE CARE.

Really solid story thus far, and you’re managing to keep the pacing brisk enough to keep the timeline moving, but without sacrificing on anything important in the process. Shame your other account has no HP stories, as I am thoroughly enjoying this one.
