I couldn’t imagine waking up younger to find out that I become a bad person in the future. It would make one think, “What even is the point of trying?”. Everything we do ultimately is for the future and it’s kinda sad that something like this is inevitable. I’m glad Touya is trying despite the odds stacked against him tho. I’m also guessing that the mystery of the last four years will be revealed in his growing memoriesMaybe the presence of the league trying to get him again would probably help out. Honestly my biggest wonder with this fic is even he’ll even transform back- and if he does- will the experiences Touya went through change Dabi? I like to think so but no doubt about it, the idea of him ending in prison will make me pretty sad lmao. Anyways, stay safe with corona and whatnot! Hope yall doing okay.

I started reading this in the evening three days ago, not realizing I would have to tear myself away from it at 3:30am two nights in a row (well, the third night, too, but the first two nights I was too excited to feel at all tired), and then wake up early and eager to keep reading each morning (strangely, I've felt more awake than I usually do with a full night's sleep, probably some kind of adrenaline thing). I love it. Like, the only thing that kept bothering me while reading was the lack of 'complete' tag and the dwindling chapters in the menu - I kept dreading reaching the end. Even when I was doing something else during the day, the fic would be at the back of my mind and I would think about the things I would like to see happening (and hoped I would be able to see). Like seeing what would happen when the quirk finally wore off (so many possibilities there: where he would be, what his first thoughts would be on waking, whether his time in the past could've affected anything physically, if he would tell the police everything he knew or if he would feel some sense of loyalty to the League members, if he ended up thinking his original goal was still important to him despite still feeling like Touya - that he understood now, if everyone at UA would remain his friends and visit him even if he's immediately put behind bars, if something would happen to keep him from ever returning to Dabi and thus he not have to pay for his crimes), or seeing when Touya got some neat support equipment and could use his quirk freely for the first time (would he have a huge grin as he played with it? Would he feel overall more free and happy afterward?), or seeing stuff with Touya and the League. In the last few chapters (ever since that scene with Shigaraki), I kept anticipating him being kidnapped or something. You guys are such masters of suspense! D: Seemed like there was the perfect opportunity in each scene - and then nothing would happen. When he was at the mall, ...when Midoriya stopped while at the mall, ...when Mina jumped him at the mall, when he was at the hospital without Aizawa trailing him (though I hadn't thought it would happen then - or at least not until after visiting with his mom, like when leaving - if the League dug enough to find out where his mom was and thought he might visit at some point). Then there was that perfect opportunity when he had the braces on and Aizawa wasn't around, and he went to the Todoroki house which the League could've been staking out, and there was a chance that the broken latch on his window could come in handy for something, and then there was him outside in the open - but nope. Actually, even before the League knew anything, when he had recognized someone's voice and someone had come in through the window he was about to climb out of, I'd wondered if it could've been someone from the League. But, I actually hope they Don't do anything until after Touya can have some fun with support equipment. ...Which is also taking so long. But the quirk specialist is supposed to be coming soon, and I think that could be an interesting scene. Perhaps they'll figure out something about his quirk that even he doesn't know (if he can even bring himself to be open enough to tell everything he knows about it - I could see him being pretty hesitant to talk about it, even when it's so important. But he better, because it'll be upsetting if he messes up his chances).
Anyhow (sorry about the big block of text. Thought I'd be more coherent now that I wasn't in the middle of the excitement of reading - be glad I couldn't get myself to pause long enough to write one-to-two page reviews for each chapter, because I probably would've if I wasn't trying to read through it as fast as Touya eats), I hope I'll see more chapters in the future (and a complete tag at some point :P). Please tell me there'll be more. I saw some activity on your profile, so that means you guys aren't like the authors who've disappeared to never update again. But at the same time, you guys having posted 30 chapters in a year and then not updated in a year is a little worrying and makes me wonder if something's happened.
