This actually made me tear up. Not a lot of fanfics can do that. I love how you pointed out a mother-son relationship growing further for revali and urbosa In the future. And revali got married to medli?! I would love to see her call him feathers as a teasing name since that is what he said when he first met her. I love this and Coafa!

P.S. Link and Mipha hook up in the end? AWESOME. It was obvious but still suprising.

I really loved this one-shot, though for personal reasons it was difficult to read at times, especially the part about Revali having to take care of Urbosa in her old and weakened state. My own mother passed away from cancer in the past year and in the months before died she was in such a fragile state that my father and I had to help her with everything. So little details like Urbosa needing to be bathed by others made me kinda choke up since images like that are still so fresh and real in my mind.

Overall, I'd say this felt very genuine. Well done.

P.S.: Also, on a far less depressing note, a character like Revali and a character like Medli eventually becoming a husband and wife literally sounds like one of the most adorable and hilarious scenarios I've encountered in recent memory. How that happened, I haven't the slightest clue, but now I'm severely curious... Gosh, darn it! I said I wasn't a shipper. Now you've made me into a liar. I hope you're satisfied!

So I just read this and damn it...I nearly wanted to start crying. I absolutely adore the motherly relationship Urbosa has with Revali in the other fanfic and this ending warms and breaks my heart at the same time. *So Medli hooks up with Revali in the end. Interesting* Other than that, great job. :D

Wait, did Medli and Revali hook up?! Come on, she can do better than him! Where's Komali?

Well. That certainly wasn't what I expected, but it's what makes sense. Setting Urbosa up as the maternal love interest instead of the romantic one is something I'd never considered, but with the way you built Revali in CoaFA, it actually works really well. Really, at this point, I'm just happy to see anything along the lines of Urbosa/Revali, romantic or no. Well done.

I figured even though I beta read this, I’d throw in a few cents of my thoughts here too. I think that the quiet introspection Revali goes here is a nice nod to the character growth he’s likely going to be exhibiting throughout the Vah Medoh arc of CoaFA proper, allowing us to see that he IS capable of change without ruining the surprise of how he changes along the way. Granted there’s minor spoilers here and there (Daruk and Urbosa die of old age, who coulda guessed? XD), but the journey is half of the wonder of any good story after all is said and done. It also sheds some light on the LoZ universe itself, really. Though this little one-shot was rather hurt/comfort, the comfort outweighed the hurt in how much it turned me into mush - all thanks to the little nod to there actually *being* an afterlife for the Champions to revel in at the end of their respective journeys.
