I've been writing Temari x Shikamaru for YEARS. This fic made me so goddamn happy. I would love to work with you if you're interested in my help. You can check out some of my stuff to see if you like it. Honestly, though, what you have here is excellent so far, and the end of the chapter left me wanting more more more!

The only thing I can see that you can improve upon is descriptiveness mixed in with your dialogue. I don't get a clear picture of the surroundings or the characters when you write. That's really the only qualm, though.

Oh hi, you're back! i'm very glad of that, you write so well and their characterisation is so good. I don't normally like AU stories, but I was in the mood and I was sure of your quality. Ah, students in the lab.. they're cute. I'm thinking that Shikamaru has a (sort of) crush and of course she doesn't notice, but I really like their interaction so slowly built. I hope to see maybe some more characters in the next chapter(s).
I also thought this was a complete story because I didn't read everything, and I can only hope you get all the reviews you want (don't get too obsessed, you're very good and think that at least for me - one person in the world - your story made me smile before going to bed) and write the second chapter soon :) well, see you soon.
