Heyo! I discovered your fic and decided to take a look, and my god, that’s a heck of a first chapter! You’ve certainly captured Silas’ mania: “He was mad”, indeed. The first half of the chapter was lengthy, but it certainly served its purpose to set the mood with the description of the numerous experiments that had taken place. Personally, I like the way it started out with pretty long and rambling paragraphs but started to peter out with shorter and shorter lines until the last proclamation of “Jackson!”. The style helped to keep my attention on the story all the way throughout, and I’m definitely eager to read more now.

My only nitpick, which is really just a personal preference, is how there were quite a few statements that ended with an exclamation mark, giving it a rather juvenile tone for such a grim chapter, if that makes sense. I felt like there would’ve been more impact if they ended with a period instead, but again, it’s just my personal preference. Overall, I love the start of this story, and I can’t wait to read more! Will be dropping another review soon :)

I am both disgusted by Silas and enamored with how you write all of this so well with little grammatical error and such skill when it comes to telling this story. Hope to see more soon!

Nice how you went and did back ground stories for all the kids describing How silas intentionally went through the trouble to individually tourture and abuse them adds just that much more depth to this story and

Yay it lives it’s been so long I was beginning to think the story dies so are you gonna go with jack is the son of Optimus and ratchet and when they find out they become overprotective of jack please say you will I want to see a tsundere ratchet that’s overprotective of his child please please
