Hi, I just read the story a second time and I really like it. I like the interactions between Yugi and Yami a lot. I wonder what Yugi will do wenn he is back in Domino, thought. I mean, he has to know that he is being followed by a demon and that he has to find a way the stay save from it. My idea would be that he could ask the tomb-keepers for help. They are the most likely from his friends to know how to haldel demons, right?
Well it has been about two years since you last updated, but I hope that you will get back to this story someday. Thank you for writing it, I had fun reading it!

I hope you haven't lost the drive to write. I really enjoyed rereading this and catching up on the chapters you posted since my last review.

It would be great to be able to read it through to completion someday.

I binged this whole story on a Friday night and I am amazed. Here we have a wonderful story which brings together two of my favorite fandoms and explores not only the largely untapped potential the two have with each other, but also explores it in ways I never thought of.

Taking creative liberties to make Yugi’s mother and family hunters to expand her character? Wonderful. I normally never would’ve pegged Sam and Dean to end up as Yugi’s cousins, but YOU MAKE IT WORK. You made the Americanizations of the English dub WORK, and WORK TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. That is nothing short of impressive.

The characterizations are spot on, and the interactions are very well done and believable. Yugi bonding with the Winchester brothers is so sweet (up until a certain point in the plot, that is), but the crowner is definitely the dynamic with Yugi and Yami. These two are one of my favorite duos of all time, and I love how you portray them. I smiled like a big goof every time the comparison to how the two are like brothers (dude, I can’t tell you how hard it is to find good, quality Yugioh fics that portrays them as brothers as opposed to lovers; I’m not homophobic nor do I bash anyone who ships them, but I never saw Yugi and Yami’s relationship to be romantic in nature, just my personal preference). My favorite scene in this story thus far is bar none the one where Yugi wakes up from having Yami severed from him and pulls the stops to reunite their souls again. The anger was so raw and jarring, but so well executed and realistic for the character. Not to mention just sheer awesome. These two being protective of each other is always beautiful to see, especially in the cases where it’s Yugi protecting his protector.

My only critique is the few scattered spelling errors across the chapters, but those are easily fixable.

At the end of Yu-Gi-Oh! I totally balled my eyes out. I knew Yami was technically already dead but the end of the show officially killed him. I cried fo 5 straight minutes. Also, I have mixed feelings over Dark Side of Dimensions, and it doesn’t help that Atem didn’t speak at all. So I’m kinda dissatisfied with that movie, especially because they don’t finish Yugi and Kaiba’s duel and it looks as if Kaiba might have beaten Yugi if you think back to the move Kaiba used in his duel with the AI Atem. So yeah, I partially ignore the movie. Anyway, to the story. Ooohhhhh, it looks like Winchester’s put a crack in the spell Atem cast that locked away his memories, looks like Yugi is catching glimpses. Or is it more like Aquarion Genesis where one half of the person remembers their past life but forced themselves to forget and the other half “remembers” their past life but has actually forgotten it. I know that’s confusing, and it’s been awhile since I watched that anime. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed that show but the ending kinda made me want to pull out my hair. And don’t even get me started on the sequel. Anyway, glad to see you updated, and don’t get discouraged if the numbers of readers isn’t that high. This is a more obscure crossover grouping so people might not be actively looking for it, neutral it is thoroughly enjoyed by those who do find it.

Yay! More story! Anyway; It was at this moment that Bobby realized... he fucked up. But in all seriousness, I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m guessing Yami will be done for the count for a bit longer and Yugi will be breaking grounds on these newly discovered powers of his out of necessity. Also, I hope Atem isn’t sent to the afterlife at the end of this, I feel like that kinda defeats the reasoning that separating him and Yugi is detrimental to their health. I of course don’t want them to be permanently combined and whole either, as they make an interesting set of personalities. Anyway, I’m way too tired to think anymore. Goodnight

Wonderful winding down from what had happened in the last chapter. Wonder what Yugi is going to do now though. Is he going back(home) or what? Can’t wait, I look forward to seeing another update!

Ohhhhhh... Grandpa is gonna whip all their asses for the stunt they pulled! Anyway, I thought Yugi might toss out a little involuntary god action in his reaction, Ra in particular. Who knows, maybe he channeled Ra’s power? Anyway, so great to hear from you and thank you for the birthday present that is just a day late! XD This story is actually my favorite out of all the ones I’m currently reading so I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Why do I get the feeling that Sugoroku is going to yell/lecture/chew them out? Well written and suspenseful. Keep up the fantastic writing!
