Where do I start? Your writing style! It's got a nice flow and a certain sass to it. Super nice.
The characters - you fleshed them out so well. I kept thing: yeah, they'd do that. Oh gosh, yeah, and that. Yeah, he'd say that! Also, I feel like I know the boss lady pretty well already by reading this little one her - great job, really! And man she's cool. (She's not still adopting by any chance?)
The plots. Spot on, witty, entertaining.
The details. Like the nicknames, the hobbies, treats they like... That just makes a story so much greater.
