Brilliant chapter! The scene with Mycroft was incredible, I was with Hermione, absolutely speechless. Loved the visit to Sherlock's mind palace and the field of flowers too. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Ah, this was amazing as always. I love that Sherlock finally found this door. I surmise that in that cottage the memories of Hermione and their childhood together are stored. I'm so looking forward to the point when he'll finally be able to open it.

Thank you for the shoutout! Though I wonder how they got Sherlock in his room without John knowing. Did they put him to sleep, make him want a cookie from the landlady, etc.? So will John freak out when Sherlock just bursts out from his room? Will Sherlock freak that his mind palace is carrying without his permission? Will he and John think that since Hermione and Mycroft know each other as kids maybe Sherlock deleted her and those memories are trying to be recovered. Or Sherlock is going insane.

Also I would love to see the meeting take place. Especially if Mycroft and Hermione are equals in their position as the real power behind the government. Maybe hear Mycroft thanking Mama Granger for her rules and making sure Hermione didn't follow the Holmes motto about emotion. And shudder at the thought of a Hermione who doesn't care about right or wrong.

Also did Hermione and Mycroft dance? Did Mycroft scare any goldfish away? Did Hermione play girlfriend or chase the one woman who refused to Mycroft scare her off. Maybe her husband/boyfriend is a rival or envy him and she was going to make him jealous with her getting Mycroft. Only she didn't expect him to being a date.

Also please let someone magically threaten Mycroft. Maybe a blood quill he is compelled to use. Or his is cursed and only a gift or a protective spell Hermione cast on to him saves him. So Hermione makes him crush in her place and hired the best ward crafters to protect his home and certain safe houses. Then personal adds a few extras surprises. I would love to see how the brothers handle living in the same building. With John and Sherlock trying to figure out why Mycroft is there.
