I am loving this story! Can't wait to see more of it!

Okay. I still love the Mr. Wynand/Mr. Ryan detail. Next, the quick summary of Bioshock: Infinite may not have been great for me, but i can see the use for people who have forgotten the plot to that game. I think that you could have used the scene in cupids arrow to examine Jacks character a little more, as to weather he has memories of any kind of adult intimacy, or if Suchong and Atlas decided that wasn't important enough for his conditioning. I only bring that up because you normally do a great job to examine Jacks mentality in a situation like that and it seems like a missed opportunity here, but you did keep his focus on his worry about Elizabeth, which did work with the plot in this chapter. And lastly, that cliffhanger, whoo boy. Are they going to go through that tear? are they gonna try and find another? Will they just leave it, and go about getting out of Rapture? What happens next? I don't know, but I want to. I am looking forward to more.

Very good dialogues, atmosphere and figths trough not so spectacular as the first chapters. Can't wait for more.

Because if there is a good Jack, there must be a bad Jack and even an evil Jack. That is the absolute truth of the Lutece Multiple Worlds Solution to the Quantum Theory equations. Besides, if Elizabeth has the potential of evil in her, why shouldn't Jack have the potential of evil in him? Intellectually at least, he knows that the Ace in the Hole was intended to be a weapon. He made the conscious choice to reject those impulses but what if he hadn't? Or what if Fontaine had the foresight to say: "Would you kindly harvest every one of those little monsters you find?" He wouldn't have had any choice in the matter!

Haven’t been on this site in YEARS, I’ve been using AO3, but I just replayed the whole bioshock series and this fic is really hitting the spot right now! I wish there was more jackabeth content in general and I’m really enjoying your interpretation so far. No pressure, but I hope you keep writing because I’m really enjoying it so far!

Excited for the next chapter!

I appreciate that you are going to stick with Jack's POV as a means to convey the mystery of what Elizabeth is up to. This chapter was also great because it had jack taking the time to analyse the environment and draw his own conclusions about what he really believed.

Oh big yikes, life isn't black and white, so much of it dwells in the gray area and it's a hard lesson to learn.

There is nothing quite so painful as realising that you're not the hero that you thought that you were. It's even worse when you realise that you're making decisions on partial, incomplete or outright false assumptions.

I know that you don't want to hear this Jack but sticking a golf club into your old man's brain was the second biggest thing you could have done for Rapture. Finishing off whatever's left of Fontaine is the biggest.

Impressive chapter, Rapture's atmosphere Is united very well with Jack's toughts and American reference.

P.s. I and some of my Friends are having the same problems, After a while the quarantine softens your drive.

I am really enjoying this story. As someone new to Bioshock I really enjoyed Elizabeth’s character and Jack’s story. I love their interactions in this story and I really like getting inside of the characters head. This chapter was fun to read as I got to learn about who Jack is to you. Jack’s is something never explored in the game being a silent protagonist, so what how you write him has been fun. I eagerly await your next chapter.
