The a as a civilian was thought a great lesson here, people would hurt at anytime chance because of who Bucky is! Silly move was planning that trip without proper preparation, Steve's wife did all mess up! She shouldn't have left her house with strangers even though they were The as family!
Now that's over, kids are safe, they better tell these two women what to expect from the kind of lives Captain America and the Winter Soldier have been living!

I hope you've been doing all right. This was a large time gap from your last update. I almost feared you'd dropped this wonderful story!

I've read so few stories where the main OC is handicapped in some fashion. Usually it's blindness, dumbness, or deafness. If not, then the handicap is a temporary injury (and, more often than not, the author forgets that the OC is injured a few chapters later). A permanent issue like RA is not out of bounds for my reading preferences. It's good to give such things awareness. Everyone is human.

HAPPY REUNION! Yay! Followed by Bucky quickly devolving back into "the world is out to get me and they'll use my loved ones and 3 out of 4 are defenseless" possessiveness. Not so yay. (Btw, by 3/4, I meant Thea, Jamie, Winnie, and Steve). Though Bucky's not wrong...

Not in Wakanda forever? I'm good with that. I'm rather "meh" on the place. Though, for them to go anywhere else, there'll definitely be roadblocks. Tony is the only one who comes to mind who I think has the clout and money to get Bucky and Family to wherever they need to go. Even though Tony has a huge grudge at the moment. But he kept the flip phone, so that has to mean something!

I'm so glad you aren't doing IW. I'm semi boycotting Marvel for disintegrating Bucky. (Even though I've heard Sebestian Stan is still contractually obligated for a few more movies, so Bucky is coming back...) Since you're going AU but will probably be covering the Wakandan deprogramming, maaaayyybe there'll be more Winter Soldier relapses?
...I'll be honest, I want to see if even the Soldier is affected by Bucky's love for Thea.

I like how you have tied your Captain America story into this one. It has added a dimension I think is lacking in others. And similar to the Marvel Universe(MU), you are having to track and stay in tune with what is happening in each story as well as the MU which in itself is almost as difficult. I am so glad that this story is out there.

While I'm a tad disappointed that Thea didn't have the chance to meet the Soldier, I perfectly understand your reasons for it. I'm also liking the time skips, so you're not just writing a rehash of the movie. You're keeping it original. Thumbs up!
