I was feeling a little bloodthirsty there, after all Rumple put them through- effectively raping Belle for a couple years. But Regina is much better than I, and I’m glad that events played out as they did... that was very kind. And hopeful.

I am in love with Mal. I really loved the old wise dragon with a soft spot for Regina.. I like that she understands her so well and is always available to support them. It sucks that Snow allowed her envy to blind her to Rumple’s machinations, but I’m thrilled that it’s finally being addressed.. what will her price be for trying to use that kind of magic and for trying to betray both Regina and Emma? Whatever her price is, I can honestly say it already isn’t enough... the nerve!

Aaaarrrrgghhhh... I’m getting annoyed with Snow again.. but I imagine that she has a lot of envy that is clouding her judgment where Regina and Emma are concerned. I’m glad that at least Mal is looking out for them..

Regina’s trigger made absolute sense... I’m glad they were able to discuss it with trust and honesty, and I’m glad that Regina has also been steadily making herself vulnerable to Emma. It may seem like Emma has lost a lot control in this scenario, but in making Emma happy and seeing to her wellbeing, Regina has actually ceded all control to Emma in multiple ways... it’s such an interesting dynamic.

This 2nd part has been an interesting read... I initially hoped that Regina and Emma would venture into a more adult and sexual relationship, but given how this has progressed, that would be obviously out of the question. I am however excited about the progress that was made between Emma and Snow... when she tried to explain her relationship with Regina, I really struggled with not seeing it through the lens of an S&M kink... I can understand this kinda superficially, and separate sexuality from it mostly because of Emma’s age changes, but it’s definitely a challenging concept to wrap my head around- and I have a helluva lot more context than Snow does. Nonetheless, this has been quite intriguing. I love all of the development, but I also can’t wait to see what Regina does to get back at Gold for what he’s done to Belle. I’m also still hoping that she’ll get her magic back...

I had read The Do Over a while ago but always put this one off because I was afraid it would ruin it for me. Wow. Was I wrong. This is so sweet and their undescribable relationship is heartwarming. Thank you for being an amazing writer and sharing this was is!

I do think, while I love all Emma’s, teen may be my favorite. Though I do love the dynamics of adult.

Just finished reading through this! And this sequel was everything I hoped it would be and more. Your writing is so addicting. Just mesmerizing! The plot is so thoughtful. I loved the teenage version of Emma and her relationship with Gina at this stage in her life. It’s a tough age and as always, Gina was a wonderful mother helping her through the special hell that is being a teenage girl. I also really enjoyed the progression of Emma’s relationship with Snow/Charming/Neal. The ups and downs between them feel very real. David was great to me here. He showed some real growth and insight. The Gold storyline was interesting and captivating and I love how you wrapped up the battle between Regina and Gold. Can’t wait to read more about Mal/Regina and how all versions of Emma will react to their growing relationship.

You write and convey emotions so well. I often find myself holding my breath because I literally feel like I’m in Emma’s head, feeling everything she’s going through especially concerning her inner struggles to understand and accept herself. It’s powerful. And your creativity just never fails to amaze me. This series is brilliant, thanks for writing this sequel. The universe you’ve crafted here is just so incredible. Thank you for sharing it with us!
