Lol, the comments, so predictable. I would usually not comment on this but Guest #2 is just as obnoxious and as annoying as the famous #1 Guest. It's like these two are stalking each other day and night.

Actually, there is. Plenty in the movie itself, and you know those who wrote and worked on the movie, yeah? They have always said Astrid has never bullied Hiccup. I think the people who own and created Astrid's character know a little more about her than you do, don't you think?

For instance, here is direct quote from Dane Stogner, one of the main animators from the HTTYD movies: (This is taken from him tumblr, nfpuppeteer)

"In the first sequence of the first film, while Hiccup is being dragged off to be scolded, you see all the other teens laughing at/making fun of Hiccup. Astrid is the only one not taking part, and arguably looks like she disapproves of the harrasment.

So if the people who worked on the movie don't think she bullied Hiccup, I think chances are very, very high she didn't. You know, since you are not the author of this story or the owner of the characters. Cressida Cowell has said she loves Hiccstrid and she obviously wouldn't if it was a problematic relationship. Cressida has said she likes Astrid and she considers her Camicazi's movie counterpart. She wouldn't if Astrid was as horrible as some portray her in this fandom.

This Guest is annoying af but you are just as annoying always reacting to this Guest in every story. These authors are not little babies, they can handle themselves and delete reviews that trigger them. Don't forget they are using someone else's characters without their permission, putting their own spin on characters they don't own. If Cressida wanted to she could have all the stories in the HTTYD section taken down. Some authors have actually even done that after discovering this site. So get off your high horse and let the authors handle this themselves.

besides, there is nothing excluding bullying from love, and youre naive if you think otherwise, Stockholm syndrome and domestic abuse comes to mind. Regardless, while there is no evindence of it, there is no real evidence against it. And guess what? It doesnt matter at all if in this movies happened, because this is an AU, not the movies. If you jst want to see the same thing over and over again, just put the movie on repeat instead of coming to fanfiction where people have a little something called imagination to change things to how they see fit for their story.

You do realize that there is no evidence in HTTYD1 that Astrid ever bullied Hiccup prior to the events of HTTYD1. In fact in the aftermath of the opening scene when the other teens are teasing Hiccup, Astrid does not and even looks sad that it is happening. Furthermore, if this were the case Hiccup and Astrid would never have gotten together-you just don't fall in love with your childhood bully-reformed or not. Some bridges, once crossed, cannot be re-crossed.
