Loved the chapter. Enough fluff to make feel like jelly. I was half expecting Shion to declare that "Naruto is MINE!" but thankfully that cliche didn't happen.

Now comes the hard part my friend. You have set the stage and did a very good job in character development. I really hope you do not get hampered by Canon considering you just throw half of it out of the window. Be as creative as you like and don't hesitate to take this A/U if you have to.

While i understand the point of people shying away from OCs, i don't mind them much. In fact i think you introduced an OC to us this chapter as you were describing the students watching Naruto and Sakura playing checkers. My advice to you, if you don't want to use OC, is to instead use non canon characters and integrate them into your story. For example you need two more characters for Shion to form a team? then use Sora the monk from the Guardian Ninja arc and give him a different backstory (perhaps he was too rowdy as a monk so he was sent to be ninja instead) without the filler aspects of it but maintain his personality. This way you have a character that we will kind of recognize. Or you can simply bring characters from other franchises (like other Anime and manga) and give them new backgrounds. Really its all up to you.

This has been on heck of a ride. Your chapters are insanely long and i had to refrain from reviewing every chapter to save up all my thoughts in one review.

Okay, i was worried about the entire point of Miroku (which funnily enough sounds like a romaji "Milk"), Moryu and the Otsutsuki, but i am glad i read through it. I enjoyed the backstory between them and the way you simply took them out of the equation for future chapters and having Naruto witness such planet destroying battles at a young age would surely help him in his future endeavors as a Ninja (though honestly if i was him i wouldn't care much about being a ninja anymore after witnessing and participating in such an epic battle).

I have no problems at all with the power levels you set as i wholeheartedly agree that all three of the Otsutsuki are shown to be simple berserkers with no skill (Compared to a ninja) or intellect and continuously counting on their abilities and the DBZesque power ups (like seriously taking each others chakra and keep munching on chakra pills with no side effects at all? Bitch Please. That is just lazy writing). So it is quite believable that a less powerful but much more skilled Ninja who has trained their craft to the extreme (like Minato and Kushina) could, with careful planning, defeat these parasites. Let alone Deities such as Miroku and Moryu.

This is your fic so you get ABSOLUTE FREEDOM in how creative you can be with it and i applaud your creativity and exceptional writing to make this epic story. Kudos to you.

If i do have an issue with this fic it would be back in chapter 3 (I think), After bringing Naruto to Miroku one of the guards exclaimed that Konoha is 400 miles away from them and that Suna is closer to them. This would not make sense since 400 miles is a really short distance. I would think at least 1600 miles. I think someone calculated the average travelling speed of Ninja in the Naruto world to be about 30 miles an hour and remember how Team Kakashi took them 3 days travelling top speed to reach Suna to rescue Gaara? well if they travel for 16 hours a day at 30mph and rest for 8 hours a day and reached Suna in 3 days, that means the distance between Konoha and Suna is about 1440 miles. This is actually a very conservative estimate and Ninja can still run much faster than this but my point is the continent of the Elemental Nations is much larger than you think and looking at the Movie scenes, the Land of Demons appear to be a rocky and mountainous region which makes me believe that its somewhere to the north of Wind and south of Earth.

I have to say: I wasn't sure about this story at first. Something about the style was a bit off for me, but the concepts were really interesting and well thought-out.

It's only gotten better. I never saw the Academy Arc chapters, but based on the story so far, I'm really interested in where this story goes. Great work.
