I love how you ended this and I'm so happy that you went back and rewrote it so that Emily would have the happy ending she deserves. I was almost crying when she thought of leaving Keira but I'm glad she didn't. It's like a way of closure for her, a reminder that beyond terrible situations lead to terrible results, sometimes there is that one good result that will help you find peace.

I also love how supportive Rossi, Blake and Hotch were. I always wanted to see Blake and Emily work together and this quenched my thirst. Also Papa Rossi being protective and Hotch knowing how to read her melted me.

I'm curious on how she and Hotch managed to develop an intimate platonic relationship. I want to know how they ended up curled into each other during their first night of watching TV and how long it lasted, considering Emily's trauma.

To wrap it up (I'm sorry this ended up being a long review) I loved it. It made me smile, it made me cry, it made me ache, it made me want to kill Doyle all over again, and it made me want to hug Emily. I loved it. That's it. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

This whole thing is lovely. Part of me loves that you gave an overview of Emily and Hotch falling into an 'intensly emotionally inmate platonic relationship' because it's not about them as a couple and the other part wants those awkward moments. Because as much as he knows about what happened at the compound, he's a formerly married man sleeping next to someone again and some habits are ingrained. I want them waking up cuddled & him trying to explain his morning erection as her but not her and Keira asking if they love each other and if there will be more babies. And I REALLY want to see the team question them after Keira comes runny to daddy after the boys are mean to her.

You’ve tied all this together beautifully. I can see Emily and Hotch being together, deepening their friendship. They have this unspoken bond and understanding that often takes years for people to achieve. Just love this story!

I just love how the team joins her with her. Lectures. Wonder what has Hotch worried?

Wow just wow! I went back and read chapter 4 and remembered how great it was. I am so glad you are doing this follow up story. I am really excited, trying to slow myself down and enjoy every word.

I love this story so much! Was not expecting for Hotch and Em to get together but it was a nice surprise.. i like that it started with a companionship and they grew to really like each other. I hope this isnt the last time we'll read this au. Oneshot maybe?

Loved the story. Will you continue the story arc with the development of Hotch and Emily’s relationship. Maybe the two solve a case at the teen center. They become part time crime solvers around their kids schedule. The Agatha Christie's husband and wife equivalent for Australia.

It is SO nice to see a different type of post Doyle story-even this AU- where Emily is allowed to be sad about what she lost and slowly and realistically rebuild something new (it would have been nice to have actually seen this happen on the show). I especially love how you show the team’s conflicting feelings about how to give her space and yet give a safety net if Emily needs it...looking forward to seeing how this develops further!

As i was reading this chapter. I was hoping you would go deeper in the adventures and stories she went on, in her travels.. lol not complaining, this is fine too, just really into the story. :D anyways, great chapter. Cant wait to read how she settles down in australia!
