…Uh… This chapter seems off.

I mean, because Kagome has a mate, I kinda expected her to only feel attracted to Inuyasha when in heat, even if there's been some trust issues/arguments lately. So, for her to interact with Miroku, who most likely has an intended and/or almost mated to Sango, and Hojo like that before heading for Inuyasha, it just doesn't seem something she would do or to happen at all in the story. And, because her wolf, Athena, is Inuyasha's wolf's mate, I don't think even she would've allowed Kagome to being that with other males except her mate. And, if you think about it, this isn't her first time going in heat, especially for Hojo to not take notice at first until later on. So, if this been going on and neither made a move on each other, shouldn't this be the obvious sign for Kagome to no longer view Hojo as a mate and more feelings towards Inuyasha?

Next, I think Kagome should've told Hojo about the pack and explain that, despite there being rough edges, the Red Blood Pack isn't as evil as she was told it would be. And, with her being their Luna (which she should've told him sooner), she could prove to him, even her father, that the pack can live in peace with one another… Let's face it; she'll most likely end up pregnant and I don't think Kagome would want this war to tear her pups away from their grandfather and uncles.

I also think that, when mates finally… Well, 'mate', for the first time, the females must swear an oath of obedience to their mate. Even if it may seem cruel, they have to follow their male's judgement and command (unless, their wolf may see fit or find a better solution in order to not follow their mate's command). And, when a male marks his mate, he makes an oath of his own to always cherish, love and always remain loyal to their mate, along with the pups they'll have together.

…Sorry about the rambling. Just giving off ideas that I kinda thought was going to happen… Not trying to criticize or anything; just not sure how this chapter fits into the story.

reading this I just though of: "This girl is on fire..." hahaah. Inu is a jerk! Someone needs to knock him down a peg or three! can't wait for more!

In chapter 4, Kags could have insisted on hearing what Naraku had to say about her former pack and have Inu tell her that he didn't want to involve her in these discussions until she was formally introduced to the pack and her loyalties were established. Kags could have also avoided being slapped if she told them that she was their Luna. This could have immediately been followed by learning about more pack members and winning them over like in the beginning of chp 5. I know that conflict is needed in a story but rational characters also build a more better story.

In chapter 5, Kags has to sneak past Inu cause he told her she wasn't allowed to. It would have been better to show it than tell it. There could have been an argument scene after they left of pack house of Inu being mad because he doesn't like how informal she is as Luna with his pack so far and she could call him cold and rude.

This is a good story that has great potential. You could benefit from a beta reader to help clean up small things and build stronger characters. I look forward to more chapters!
