billrausch chapter 20 . 5/6 I like this story. I think that the pace is nice; giving us a chance to watch the characters learn about each other is enjoyable. |
mangosmum chapter 13 . 5/4 This is the third time I have read this storyduring its writing and once when completedand it's just as good as I remember! |
Bambu chapter 50 . 2/12 I've just had a happy few days reading your stories, especially 'Hidden Stitches', the 'Consequences' series (if two novel-length pieces can be considered a series), and the Good Deed original and variation. I had a thought while reading this original Good Deed, and thought to mention it in case you're planning to pull it at some point, polish it and publish it on Kindle (or some other platform). Are there not Parliamentary or royal implications upon the Earl's death? He was a peer of the realm. Wouldn't there be some sort of governmental response to what might initially be thought of as a political assassination? It's easy to throw in a paragraph or two to mention and discard the idea in light of the facts of the case, but I will confess it was my initial thought and expectation. With that being said, I'm off to take a look at the next story of yours on my list, and look forward to the next few days of delight. Thank you for your efforts; they're a sheer delight. |
Colleen S chapter 20 . 1/26 Love this story! |
Levenez chapter 50 . 10/22/2019 What a story... many chapters and long ones. What a tale you have written... one could say it concentrates on Wickham and how his misdeeds form an alternative world to P&P. It is quite dark, especially at the beginning and how it impacts our dear (Fitzwilliam) Darcy. It is quite angsy later on in the story as we wait to see how Wickham will create further havoc to this very large extended family. But Elisabeth and Darcy don’t have the chase and misunderstanding as they did in canon, there is a sort of Hunsford moment and soon enough they will come together as a team. So a completely different story to canon but very much captivating and well written. |
Wyndwhyspyr chapter 50 . 8/31/2019 I thoroughly enjoyed this absolutely wonderful story. I sat here this afternoon and read it without stopping. Now to track down any other stories you have (hopefully lots) for me to enjoy! Do you have any works out there that are published? I love supporting authors I enjoy so that they can keep on writing! Best Wishes! |
Thankyouchi chapter 2 . 7/15/2019 Just to be clear, it’s painful to read because how mean and evil wickham is to young Mr. Darcy. |
Thankyouchi chapter 2 . 7/15/2019 It’s too painful to read. Poor Mr. Darcy. |

MissNatashaGinnyMollyDarcy chapter 50 . 2/16/2019 I like the de Bourghs in this and the Matlock family, though George is pure evil! |
Heather Snow chapter 50 . 2/6/2019 I've enjoyed this story. I love stories that allow some of the negative or unappreciated characters get a chance to reform, like Caroline, Mary, Kitty and Lydia. In my eyes, Mr. Bennet has always been in that negative group to, and I fully agreed with Elizabeth's comments to her father and was happy with the impact they had. |
Heather Snow chapter 22 . 2/5/2019 Love the historical detail about the earthquake, that it actually really happened. So thrilled you worked that in. |
