A Reader chapter 1 . 7/22 Still missing your writing. Just hope you are well and safe. Please don’t give up on this story, come back and give it an ending. It’s always nice to see a good story get finished, but I know how hard writing can be. |

Eva325 chapter 47 . 4/9 I have loved every chapter and I wonder if you plan to continue the story. You are a talented writer and you have a gift for developing characters and the manner in which they interface in the story. I selfishly want more! |

Francesca chapter 47 . 3/25 Cool story but please tell that Laura Dayton won't make an appearance later because that would be awful and awkward. |

wdjw chapter 1 . 11/8/2019 I enjoy this story. It is showing already the many emotions of Adam's that he holds inside. He'll need his family's love and patience to draw them out |
MissKitty4Adam chapter 47 . 10/27/2019 Certainly, I grabbed a cuppa, snuggled down in a chair and thoroughly enjoyed this latest chapter. Each new installment is well worth the wait and don't worry about taking awhile. Your story is so awesome and I'd wait forever. Let's get down to business... Madeline's tenderness towards Adam makes my heart sore. Not many women are able to see past the brick walls guarding his heart but she can see through them. I can understand Paul and his point of view. The poor doctor does so much for Adam but doesn't receive the validation he needs for that almost father-son relationship. His reasons for being taciturn make complete sense once Madeline drew them out of him. She did well in explaining Adam's behavior which hasn't been given the proper concern. Paul needs to remember how much his adoptive son had been put through. Thank goodness for Madeline who has her hands full with both men. The tender scene at the end was so beautiful and was definitely my favorite of this chapter. Her responses are always perfect for his fragile mindset. She can see into his soul. It is a beautiful thing to watch happen each time. |
drmweaver chapter 47 . 10/26/2019 Welcome back! I was very happy to see your post. I thought it was wonderfully written. I liked how the storm and the tensions in the house mirrored each other. What a great use of comparisons! The characters are so real I can envision this all happening. I felt the sadness that Paul felt when he finally let his shield down. Hopefully the trip upstairs are steps to a positive breakthrough between Adam and Paul! This was a very emotional chapter I am glad Hop Sing was there to bring everybody back on track...myself included! |
Adam's Gal chapter 47 . 10/25/2019 What a beautifully written chapter that I didn’t want to end. I work with envisaging the actors playing these roles in the TV series and it was so easy to do that here. Interestingly, I too have dreams about a certain Adam Cartwright lol. Fabulous interaction between Paul and Madeline, revealing his anguish at the situation. Thanks for the summary earlier too and no apologies needed for the lateness. It’s a great write. |
BJ2 chapter 47 . 10/25/2019 So the truth is finally out... poor Paul. I’m so glad Madeline pushed. Maybe everyone will finally relax and get back to being themselves again. |
