Reviews for Exelica Infinity: Forging Reality
GrumpyGrue chapter 5 . 6/21
Sairaorg is a shoddy knockoff of Saitama. Single punch my ass! And how do they suspect him of being an imposter when they know jack shit about him for the last decade? What deranged line of thinking brings a group of devils to that rationalization?

And Issei caving was a letdown, and a relief at the same time. Relief being not having to be married to that walking garbage known as Rias. Letdown is that he doesn't just stomp them to show he will get compliance and victory no matter what they want. Vae victis.
GrumpyGrue chapter 4 . 6/21
You shouldn't need story reviews to raise your self-esteem. What if people start calling your story shit? Then where would you be? Esteem must come from within, like flatulence.
I hear Jamaican trolls every time Paimon speaks, mon.
Dantallion the dandylion.
Chocolate being put on people is weird. But shitty devils don't count as people. Get em Freed!
GrumpyGrue chapter 3 . 6/21
Homeless puppies grow up into public nuisances, dangers, and varmints. Nobody wants packs of wild dogs attacking them, so kill away, author. An animal pound would euthanize the unclaimed anyways, and there's plenty of dogs in animal shelters if people wanted them.

I like the twist. Because making Rias suffer is joy. Because Akeno should get slapped in the face like she was about to do to MC (but she'd probably like it so better do one better).

Clarification on part of my chapter 2 review: Rias seemingly lied to Issei about not recognizing Arturia by her appearance once the cloak was removed, going by Issei's suspicions. But she DEFINITELY lied to Issei when it came to them being friends. If it's to protect herself, that's understandable as she's a rich bitch, and some devils like that guy who Sairaorg punched might want to stick their wee wee in her.

But yeah, Rias is always suspect, shady, and Issei treating a political marriage with this levity is asking for trouble. I agree he'd be sacrificing his dignity by getting with the Gremory, if the Gremory don't just try assassinating Dantalion and collecting his estate. Issei has confidence the likes he hasn't earned despite playing the game through twice, and being this uppity when he has been leveled down into a new game, is foolish when his death would be simple to achieve by a stronger character that is already pissed at him. Killing your own peerage is a problem, but others? Arturia nearly came to killing Riser, and hoped that toning down her attack would resolve the issue, without seeming certain he'd be alive by the end of it. So if this boy is the last Dantalion, couldn't he be killed and even if other devils eye Zeoticus or Rias with suspicion, how would they go about ensuring that the murder is something they can punish the Gremory for?

That C (C) I typed in the previous chapter review was supposed to have a plus within the parentheses to show C plus, but the software coding on fanfiction reviews is wonky, and eliminated the plus sign.
GrumpyGrue chapter 2 . 6/21
Rias a shit. Devil tastes are shit. Use Rias only for her money and hit it and quit it (or pimp her out), but waifu the Arturia.

Issei not showing Sairaorg the Arturia under the cloak, but showing Rias who isn't his friend, and also seeming to lie to him, and would snitch on the identity to others if it would benefit her, or manipulate Arturia into her peerage. Especially if she tells her bro that she wants this woman as her piece? Then outright revealing Arturia's name and title verbally? REEEEE.

Zeoticus already threatening Issei with death. Bragging to him with relevant info (which is basically what Nasuverse magi would regard as mysteries to be used as trump cards for good reason) as a flex only puts Issei in more danger, and having him as father in law is a dumb idea. Unless you actually kill him like a good xianxia cultivator would for the other assholes around him.

Would rank Rias's charm: D, because she is not charming at all. Her family is still arranging her marriage with Riser, and she can't charm her way out of it. She can't talk anybody into being a mercenary for her without an exorbitant fee. She can't get her peerage to follow her out of any true loyalty, but only years of repressing trauma, and the fact that she can throw money around to make them less unhappy, but not truly happy. People say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy the things that make you less unhappy. They've been agonizing for years, and all she does is send them on contract jobs to improve her prestige, not caring a whit for them beyond what they can do for her personally. And then there's the hunting of stray devils her society does.

Rias's leadership: D. Lazy is she, delegates without thinking things through. Rating game is starting in 10 days? Herp derp, now is the time to train, instead of doing this in the years leading up to it while devils trained, and gathered peerage members!

Rias's peerage were sourced unethically for just about every member in her peerage. Not by training, but natural talent and in some cases genetic engineering which was probably the result of devil subterfuge in the affairs of other factions to supplant and divide and conquer the groups based on idealogy and manufactured scandals, and Rias having connections due to nepotism as her brother is basically a nation's high leader who can journey into the territories of those he is sabotaging even if they're natural enemies, Rias got good starters that help her scrape by, barely.

Technique: D, because her natural technique of Bael destruction magic is strong, but she doesn't have varied applications or techniques regarding it, or a more varied skillset outside of it.

"Charming Beauty": C (C). She's a bit above average for a generic anime girl, and is slightly exotic. Having a skill at C rank is already impressive, given how high beauty can go, especially with the range of supernatural creatures. She's not on par with fey, and when a wise man looks at her as a devil, Rias's charm quickly is replaced by revulsion and rightful wariness. Only those who don't know her true nature would see her as more beautiful.

Intelligence: C. Influenced by Rias being a manipulative, conniving bitch, but A intelligence score is excessive, unlikely when Rias is dead lazy, delegating slave labor to her peerage, NEET and letting Sona do the heavy lifting for administration which she messes about her Occult Research Club and does otaku things, disappointing her family at her underachieving enough that they'd force her into a marriage she wants no part in.

Every other stat seems ok.
