I have to say I absolutely love this! I love Tony and he gets such shit in the mcu, like as much as I like caps hot bod mcu is the worst version of him.

Ok, well I would like to see the ripples pf Tony Stark’s new outlook on life. Reading about his healing process particularly how he dealt with the days when he’d have a setback in his mindset. After all, there are very few people indeed who are capable of changing years of bad habits in months with no backsliding at all. Most the people I have met who have tried to quit cigarettes haven’t just tried once and given up, rather many times and many times they returned to smoking. It has been my experience it is the same with all bad habits, perhaps especially bad mental habits.

Seeing how the Thanos, infinity stone thing plays out would be interesting too.

Here’s another canon deviation for you, Ultron took apart JARVIS, and the mindstone along with some other elements brought Vision to life. Thing is, I highly doubt J.A.R.V.I.S. Didn’t have a backup of himself and his programming somewhere offsite in a safe, secure and Isolated server, decidedly NOT on the internet. As far as I am aware, that is what most programmers part of large corporations or in government organisations do with their highly sensitive code, programs and documents. You don’t keep everything in the one place, in other words, you don’t put all your eggs in the one basket. So the question is, where are Jarvis’s backup files, and why has Tony not done anything to retrieve them yet?

Next question, where’s Rhodey in all of this Accords business? He has a suit just like Tony’s after all.

Next point, what will happen when Asgard implodes and the survivors come looking for a home on Earth now Tony is not the same as he was?

What of Loki’s mind control issue? E.g. that Loki like Clint was being mind controlled?

As far as the rest of the avengers go, consequences for actions responsibility for their choices and growth as people would be very interesting to read. Bashing aka throwing someone’s mistakes in their face over and over again is boring, unimaginative and restrictive in personal growth, both for the person being bashed and for the person doing the bashing. Seeing how each of the Avengers grow and deal with their issues Clint with his severe anger management issues, Natasha with her almost pathological need to manipulate those around her, Steve with his plethora of issues among which is his strong dislike of change and lack of control which makes him cling to Bucky like a man possessed. Wanda and all her issues etc. Bruce who is currently probably off world. Thor has probably grown a lot as a person, after all being responsible for your people tends to make one mature faster, particularly if you care about them, which Thor does.

Ultimately I want Tony genuinely happy. I’m glad he’s getting there. I’m glad he has better people surrounding him. People in his corner.

I would like to see in the epilogue Tony as an old man reflecting on his life and what he achieved and being satisfied. That would be a good ending.

I like the chapter. I know this story is from Tony's viewpoint, but have you thought about having a chapter or two from different viewpoints. Maybe a superhero Tony is working close with or Rodney point of view. I would love to see a meeting with the DIA and the Avengers look like. Show how the DIA is handling that bunch overgrown children.

You go, apathyinreverie. This is genius. I think Tony would've found out about these ages before anyone from the active Avengers did. Also, nice sorta tribute to the Holocaust victims. I don't care if that's how you meant it, I'm taking it that way.

On the idea side; introducing the UN to some who can speak for a large group of supers, Professor X, Magneto, someone in person would be very interesting.
