I had hoped that Marahan might be involved in the females beating Red back in to the woods where his kind belongs? Perfect action for a foisty girl like her. :) But as long as it was done, I love that, too. Go ape girls!

I'd have loved to see Blue Eyes telling Maurice about him and Marahan, but I bet the orangutan already knew. :) Still would have been fun to watch Blue try and explain. LOL!

It was a beautiful wedding! But I bet, thpough he was happy for her, poor old Maurice is now very sad to lose his only child.

Okay, , my usual question time ...:) How in the world were they abel to stay in contact with Malcom and his family to have them be at the wedding?

I love this so much, but it was also my mmost frustrating chapter. So, May I make one very small teeny request. Have her interact with female apes alot more directly in other stories? Do you realize we've seen her interact more directly with Ellie on page than she has with the females of her own village, ever? Come on, she has to interact with hthem sometime, especially since she's now there new possible Queen. The apes are so badly ignored or misused in the movies that it's always nice when a fic author can flesh them out, and since they weren't used much or well in the films, there is a lot a fic author can play with, too. :) Still hoping to see that sisterly bond you said she used to have with Lake?

Now that it is really the last, I am really sorry to see this fic go. I can't wait for your other stories! Even if War fics are the hardest for me to read. I hope to be reading you again soon. I am rally curious about that AU story?

I could enjoy that touching ending a lot more, if I didn't know war was coming? And Ttraitor apes stil lurk within. ;)

So, Will we ever find out what happens to Marahan during War? Does little Nova come in to the picture and how will they get along? Will we ever see Marahan interact with Lake? YOu did mention something about a sisterly bond they used to have, but then we never got to see any of that. And I know that was probably because Lake was not even thought of in canon hwhen you started the fic. :)

and just one las tquestion, why wouldn't Rocket have already known about what happened to Ash? Of course, even if he did, that doesn't compare to how he'd react when he found Ash's body. And, poor dear Tinker. She's the one who has to be told, and I wouldn't want to be the one who had to do it.

Whew! This was quite a ride! :) I enjoyed it. Just saying that in case you doubted cause of all my other comments and/or questions. :) I never keep reading a fic that I stop enjoying. I jsut usually quietly stop reading it and fade away.

Favorite line maybe of the whole story ... [all males in the royal family needed a good, strong female to keep them on the right path.] Ain't it true, in general. LOL!

I'm not to sure that Ellie would have Caesar exercising right after his surgery, walking a bit but not exercising, though. It would rip out whatever meager stitches Ellie'd be able to put in. And medical supplies are hard or impossible to come by.

and, oh rats! I just realize this is about over? Now I wish I hadn't read so fast. Okaym here I go, final chapter ...

Why didn't Blue tell her he was going back to free the prisners? Or, was he afraid that she'd insist on going with him to save Maurice?

I want to say how much I enjoy seeing Alex and blue interacting with each other. Especially on a positive note. It's one thing the movie sadly did not take advantage of.

I think you captured Blue Eyes POV, his inner turmoil, beautifully in this chapter.

I can see why Blue would consider Malcolm a nuisance. But if he's had such a change of heart, and is so sick of the brutality, why would he even think of bringing him to koba's human cages? Unless, maybe, he still thoght Malcolm has something to do with his Father's death?

I think this is still one of the best written chapters of the whole story. Keep it up! :)

Ouch! the former ape ... I doubt that you meant it, but that was a little harsh! :) Still, i suppose this is exactly how she's feeling right now, isn't it?

Ok, favorite line of this chapter has to be:
[It was for the best she didn't go; besides she might end up forgetting the supplies and go hunting for Koba instead.] If she actually saw her Dad and just about all her favorite uncles chained up in the prison bus, I'm sure she'd definitely react that way. I hope she never has to see it.

But, if she's so sure that Koba burned their home why wouldn't she be equally as sure he tried to kill Caesar? That last tiny bit of denial or just shock?

Also, I can see her guessing how long Carver's been dead, but not precisely but I can see her making a guess. But, how does Marahan know what time it would be? Does she have a watch or some other way of keeping human time? Did Maurice teach her how to keep human time? If you've mentioned this in previous chapters, I apologize for forgetting.

Yes indeed, another tug at the heart strings chapter. :) Please keep it up. Now ... off to read more.

Never mind a general's son or even the heir ... he shot at one and threateend to shoot at another chld, and even smaller more helpless one, in that last case. :) the only hting I didn't mind Koba doing was get rid of him in dawn.

And ... OH! I had a feeling that was coming. Poor Maurice! Poor Marahan! Still tugs at the old heart strings, though.
