Oh my goodness, well I’m finallly catching up on reviewing. This was adorable, Maashous and Kaitlin were adorable and I listened to the song as I was reading and I love it, it’s great.
Poor Lilette, poor Simon but at least Robbie and Jeremy are there for them.
So Gwen and Gordy are trying it out, and Sasha and Michael are making it a secret thing, aww love it.
This was a great chapter. Off to read the next. :)

Loving these ships, but I’m not sure how to feel about Kaitlin and Maashous. Or, is theirs meant to be more of a brother and sister relationship?

Really hope the scumbag restaurant owner is either run out of town, arrested or killed, though none of those seem likely.

As for Simon’s father disowning him, can’t say I’m surprised though that doesn’t change how furious it makes me. I really hope his mother and Emma stand up for him, and that they are shown doing so.

I am really enjoying this! And this last chapter was a nice little break from some of the drama of the main storyline. I mean I am of course interested to see everything get resolved but these little scenes with the characters was really sweet. Can't wait for next week.

OMG I LOVED THIS CHAPTER! Everything the kids said was spot on! The theatre is that place where kids can be themselves (or be someone else for a while). And I love the major names you had Lilette mention, very contemporary (though I would’ve preferred Idina Menzel to Pippa Soo, but I guess Pippa is more in right now)! Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Glad they have succeeded in getting the department temporarily reinstated, though I expected there to be more of a… How do I say it… Power struggle between the principal and superintendent in regards to that.

Looks like Simon is going to come out in the next chapter. Brave of him, though I’m already hurting at the idea of how his father response. I hope his mother stands up for him, though and is actually shown doing so. Also, this could be a good opportunity to address a stereotype of Christians when it comes to homosexuality, that being although some are against it there are others, myself included, who have no problem with it. Maybe Simon could reach out to another cast member because he still wants to go to church somewhere, and it turns out said cast member attends a very open and welcoming church? Not trying to tell you how to write your story as it’s yours of course, but I just thought I would throw that idea out there.

I love how well they’re all working together! I have no clue how they’re going to be able to prove that it’s changed lives without it actually being open though... Fantastic little teasers at the end as always too! Xx

I am so invested. This is helping to take away the sting of cancellation because I can actually imagine all the characters doing this. Can't wait for next week to see how everything goes down!
