It's *perfect*. The foreshadowing, Jack being his goofy self without being cartoony, if that makes sense, and, oh, just all of it!

This was fun. Serenity is so very different, and you did a marvelous job with her differences and keeping them consistent.

lol Vlad lit the candle. And that line about how a potential boyfriend for Annabelle would've had Vlad's eyes shooting lasers if he could've was perfect. Good thing Vlad had all those years to master his powers. XP

This was so nice to read. I adore how you portrayed the dynamic between Jack and Vlad, and it's so like Jack to go to Vlad so his friend wouldn't have to spend Christmas alone. I really liked Jack's conversation with his dad.

It's bittersweet because we know what will happen in the future but it's also a wonderful memory. Loved how they wrote their names on each other's foreheads, and Vlad's reaction when he found out was priceless.

I love how you portray Jack and Vlad during their college days

This was nicely written, I could totally see this happened since as we know Jack does have a big heart and wouldn't want Vlad to be alone on Christmas.

It's bittersweet since we know what eventually became of their friendship, all in all nicely done.

okay I loved this chapter, read Checkmate and have been reading Endgame and gotta say I love your work. This chapter is great for many reasons but most of all because of Annie who is my favourite OC character of yours, her friendship with Danny was adorable in CM/EG as was her relationship with Vald. So thank you for such an awesome chapter about one of those moments

That was beautiful. I'm sorry for the short review but I wanted to let you know I really enjoyed these two newest updates. I loved reading about young Vlad with Horris and Falco. Beautifully written yet evokes such bittersweet feelings when I think about the events in DoaS.

I loved reading about Clockwork and Serenity. They're both amazing characters. Serenity and her motivations always fascinated me in your story, and I loved seeing a different side to her here. The dialogue and descriptions were wonderful.

Both your newest stories made me smile and they also give depth to the characters. I really enjoyed reading them. Thank you.

I just wish Serenity had opened her eyes in "Endgame" the same way she did here when Clockwork called her beautiful and knew then and there what it meant.
