so, it's been over a year since you updated. honestly i'm kinda skeptical you'll update it again, but i've seen people update after much, much longer, so...

anyway, my point here isn't to tell you to update. my point is to tell you how engaging this story has been. it genuinely drew me in, and i honestly wasn't expecting it to. i've read a lot of fanfictions, but i find the best ones are the ones that are creative. you weren't afraid to yank your character out of her life and dump her in inconvenient, uncomfortable situations, where getting out alive if at all was genuinely uncertain. and you Started with that. that's... dude. n i c e.
also, kudos to you not only an american character(not because american, but because rarity of that in these fanfictions), but especially for a californian(definitely because californian though).
i genuinely like June. i found myself rooting for her a lot, and wanting to watch her succeed. she's clever, but reasonably so, believably so. she has her own character, her own backstory, and even the side characters are given life. serious kudos to you for that one, too.

anyway. i hope you read this and remember that you created something pretty neat. it's certainly entertained me, and right now that's Incredibly important.
