I grinned like a damn lunatic when I saw the line "This is Skywalker". It's taken two years, but we got there. Funny enough, the scene with the fleet reminds me of Gandalf coming to Helm's Deep with the Riders of Rohan; and I like the nice tough of Admiral Hux feeling "a phantom pain", it's a nice touch that I enjoy.

Looking forward to seeing how y'all conclude the Battle for the Forge.

Now that Skywalker showed I'm hoping he can mediate a middle ground with the forge maybe work for thrawn of whom I'm hoping he stays at least a nominal good guy he played as only a villain for far too long.

Oh my word, have to say that, that was an absolutely magnificently glorious and incredible awesome humdinger of a new chapter and one of your best ever to date.

You have absolutely and utterly spoiled us with all of the various wonderful and amazingly spectacular thrills, spills and twists of the battle of the star forge and then managed to go even one better with the ending if this current chapter. As loved how having presented the new republic and allied forces as being out of options and just when it looked like all hope had faded, the long absent and gone New Jedi Order come charging into the rescue and put new hard into them. While at the same time make the first order and Sitj suit themselves with fear at the prospect of facing then in battle again.

Ah, so THAT is what you meant when you told me you were "going to do the one massive thing Disney failed to do." Interesting to have the good old hero of the OT back and kicking at the head of his new Jedi, especially when the heroes were at their lowest, which the writing does convey, first going through Han's thoughts as he finds the wounded Rey, Poe about to be captured, and New Republic fleet is about to be defeated (though, I'm wondering whatever happened to Finn since I didn't see him in the chapter). Not many complaints, and interested to see how this will be wrapped up. Until then, take care.

I wonder what Kylo Ren will look like in "full dark side".

Another good chapter with excellent action. The little tidbits (e.g. connecting the Eternal Empire into your universe) were nice to read as usual, and it was interesting to see Mechos' philosophy as well as how it convinced the station to (seemingly) side with the First Order. Really makes you wonder how our heroes are going to get out of this situation, as well as what will happen in the rest of the sequel trilogy.

Speaking of our heroes, the fight between Rey and Kylo felt very raw and powerful at times, yet I would've preferred the chapter ending with the two of them only sharing glances without saying a word, since Rey and Kylo were convinced to fight each other to the death (at least that is what I got from the previous chapter). And another more minor nitpick was that I don't think much really has happened with Poe in the final battle, as I almost forgot about him until this chapter (but then again, so much was happening that I probably forgot about him to begin with).

Nonetheless, I've enjoyed this story immensely. It might be one of the few things I like about Star Wars these days that isn't mired in drama inside and out of the current movies. It has been a fun ride and I can't wait to see how it will end (though do stop to take care of your). I hope your finals went alright. Take care.

Ah, another twist added upon the twists. Interesting to see the Vong being mentioned at all, but I'm a little cautious how (Personally, I don't mind the Vong's existence in the old EU, I just didn't like how the Vong War devastated the work the original heroes did).

Anyway, this is another interesting chapter. I do like the fight scene between Rey and Kylo, but I think what grabbed me more was constantly wondering which side the station will pick (seriously, that is some suspenseful writing right there). I'm not sure if it just how I read it, but the crux of the fight-aka Rey trying to knock sense into Kylo-felt like it circled around to the beginning with the two facing each other with their sabers (then again, this is more of a nitpick as the fight scene is well-written and does use the surrounding battle to its advantage). I think my only other nitpick is that the prose addressed Kylo as "Cale" in the beginning part of the fight while the rest of the fight called him Kylo, making it feel a bit out of place.

Other than that, I can't wait to see what happens next. Honestly, I've enjoyed this story a lot, and I'm surprised that it shares similar ideas I've been planning for my own TFA rewrite to the point I'm wondering to even continue it as is. Really looking forwards to how this all ends. Take care and stay safe.

Well, this was certainly a game changer with the Forge thinking for itself like that. Brilliant, how it chose a path of its own free will rather than choosing to ally with another. And I wonder what threat you referred to with “Thrawn’s Boogeymen?” If it’s what I think it is, then I’m very excited for what comes next in your rewrites. It’s very tragic how the big battle between Kylo Ren and Rey Katarn is upon us, but I know that you guys will do it much better justice than the movie. Oh, and thanks for the shout-out. First of all I want to thank you for this chapter, it was very good and I really enjoyed the abordage scene with Hux: these are things that we do not often see in the star wars fanfictions I find (the abordage scenes).
Then, don't apologize for your professional life or your health problems: I am sure that your readers understand these annoyances and will not blame you for it.
Finally, I have a question: can we consider the Knights of Ren as the apprentices of Dark Plagueis ?
And if so, how do you explain this violation of the Rule of Two ?

Excellent update, my friend. Hope Chewie survived the attack, and Leia’s allies can win this pivotal battle. I can definitely say, without a doubt, that this story is light years better than the official version. A real work of originality with the best of both timelines. I enjoyed this chapter. I find that you have well reworked the sequence of the confrontation between Han Solo and his son.
However, be careful that the character of the omniscient droid is not only used for free exposure regarding the motivations and dilemmas of the characters.
Finally I would like to know if your phrase "You decide" means that you leave it to our readers to choose on this question or if it is simply a teaser for the different paths that you plan to follow.

Very good. I trust the blaster was set for stun. I liked how Han talked about the carbonite, you don't see that in legends to much. I assume you are basing Han's personallity on his trilogy and not the movie? Keep it up.
