I love this story! I expected it to be an Anakin SI and was pleasantly surprised at the direction you went. I really like the idea of a Mandalorian Jedi, and can't wait to see who you have in mind to be Tyris' Master. Great job!

Ah, wonderful. I reread it to remind myself of how this story went, and I'm excited to see what you change. I'm not expecting you and Anakin to be the best of friends or anything, but maybe you can fill that hole that Anakin needed. Someone who can understand what it's like to be taken away from your everything just to be thrown into training that goes against everything you've ever known.

Will it save Anakin from the Dark Side? Not by itself, no, but it might make it easier to bring him to his senses when that fall starts.

nice chap dude, I like the foreshadowing when Anakin and Tyris touched,it seemed like anyone sharp enough would've noticed something was peculiar, force powers or not. The way you showed us that everyone's minds were just utterly non-existent at that moment through Master Windu's face and their own body language is awesome. Mind blown Samuel L. Well, as far as first meetings go between a MC and the child version of 'The Dark Lord of Youngling Royale'; this one has gone quite well. Only a little bit of "Oh shit, this is important" Force-Guided-Fuckery to go along with a handshake, nothing major I am sure. Windu was surprised over nothing... Definitely nothing...

It's quite clear Tyris created a mental block when he accidentally attacked his mother's body while gripped with the dark side as a child. Learning Nejaa's method to get around it is smart, though ultimately he doesn't really have any weakness in TK like him. I think it would have been fine even if he did though, since he could have been plenty badass without TK.

Anyway, I wonder if Tyris will seek out the Matukai at some point? As a Mandalorian their techniques would be right up his alley.
