Rereading this chapter somehow hurt more than the first time I read it, when it'd first been released. Maybe it's because of an edit, maybe it was lengthened and the emotion was drawn out more, maybe I just understand the characters more, I don't know. For whatever reason, this chapter hurt me and I dry heaved into my pillow cos that's the state of my life now. Yay. In all honesty tho, great Job. Amazing, even at the second read. I needed Loki to be alive too. IW and the Russo Brothers ripped my heart out when they gave Loki such a senseless death.

I always felt like seeing Loki come back from presumed death twice should've messed Thor up a little, leaving him unable to ever truly accept it should Loki be dead for good. Like, there will always be that little spark of denial in him, always that little ray of hope that Loki will show up again. And I don't think the movies will ever deal with Thor's grief any further than that conversation with Rocket and maybe some snippets here and there. So I'm truly glad and grateful to find this story dealing with this scenario so wonderfully. It's beautifully written and the feelings are portrayed perfectly.

This is nice. It feels really light, after the rest of the story, which is not unwelcome by any means. I love that they're planning and working and starting to LIVE again.

The exchanges with Loki were really...cute(?). It's not the word I want, but I'm having a hard time finding a better one. I like that Clint wasn't gonna fight him. The past was just picked up and set aside, like it was nothing. But I guess it kinda was, by that point. They've all lost people. They all watched Thor grieve, and they got a chance to maybe guess at what Loki might have been like BEFORE. Because nobody would grieve for the Loki they saw the way Thor was grieving. I like the idea that Clint might be able to move on like that.

And the exchange between Loki and Nat was perfect! I wasn't sure what was gonna happen, dialogue-wise. I really didn't know where you were gonna go. I loved Loki's 'I don't think I've ever liked anyone who didn't try to kill me at some point' and 'I was angry' - lol. It is such a bland excuse. The explanation was really touching, though. I really liked that, especially the way Nat spun it out and remembered Ultron.

This is a really great ending ;) Maybe a little in-congruent with the rest of it, but fantastic just the same, and well worth it for the info about a sequel!

This is one of the best fanfics I have ever read. (I also read it straight through from beginning to end, that’s how good it is!) You had the characters’ voices down perfectly, and the emotion was so powerful. I would really love it if this is how Endgame turns out.

I literaly just keep comming back to this story. It's the best one. I love how, the avengers are able to see loki differently after deciding to just be there for Thor. When he told the stories that they had already heard but completed them with Loki being in them, that was one of my favorite moments.
