I love this so much cause everyone thinks about how the team (mainly Dan) lost Charlotte but I don’t think the show lingered on the fact that Lucifer lost what was truly left of his mother (not to mention this fic is amazing and I feel like sobbing)

I like how this goes through Lucifer's emotions, starting from the angelic standpoint that Amenediel represented, where he doesn't quite understand them, to where he participates first hand. His own feelings allow him to understand how he'd related to Charlotte and what he's lost. Very nice, thank you.

That episode destroyed me. I already was crying and I died the moment Dan stepped out of the car because then it just hit me right in the face.

Nice. Very Nice. Charlotte was much better towards Lucifer than Mum was and he would eventually have to grieve her (and Mum) once the pain got past his natural ability to ignore what he didn't understand. Lovely piece.
