jennyfair chapter 1 . 8/11/2019 AAAH bamboozled! I love it! Love these lines in particular: "Instead, she had pressed a ring into his palm and a kiss upon his lips, exorcising the demons within and turning the ghost into a man. The man who had loved her enough to set her free." |
Phantom Rose 0617 chapter 1 . 10/12/2018 Ooh, loved it! It was so sad and then turned so beautifully happy. You are very good at these little one-shots. :) |
phantom chapter 1 . 8/11/2018 can't believe erik was HIGH at his own wedding he was trippin this was so pretty and angsty and honestly there was one split second where i went "wait is this his own wedding? no it isn't" and then of course it WAS wow i loved this |
AliceHeart247 chapter 1 . 5/17/2018 This was so sweet! I suspected part way through and am so glad I was right! I loved this. Thank you so much for writing such a wonderful ending to their story. |
CharlieBoneFan chapter 1 . 5/16/2018 Wonderful! |
Wheel of Fish chapter 1 . 5/12/2018 GAH. You had me going there, even though it was labeled E/C, haha. The kiss was hands-down the best part, starting with Christine's haughty head-tilt. I loved that she grabbed him by the lapels of his coat. And the way he pulls her to him and clutches her: HNGH. The ending is utterly beautiful, too. Every last sentence, starting with "sealing her words with the kiss she could not give him in that cellar." Nicely done! |
Phanatic01 chapter 1 . 5/12/2018 Ohhh, that was beautiful! And it was set in the Saint-Chapelle! I adore that church. This was very well written and almost provided the reader with an out of body experience, just as Erik was experiencing here too. I love the idea of a repented Erik entering a church, and you created such a powerful moment with it. Your one shots are simply wonderful! |
Anushka Somavanshi chapter 1 . 5/11/2018 Thank God. I was so worried for his sanity for a moment there lol. |
Not A Ghost3 chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 Oh, I loved it! (Also, still actually me! Just not logged in!) |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 loved it! |
Nade-Naberrie chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 From the summary through about the first half, I was just writhing going "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO MEEEE?" Not that I don't love being sliced open by good old fashioned angst, but I was so much happier with that ending, haha. You sneaky authoress, you. Brava, and PHEW! :D |
Leonie chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 Beautiful. |
peanutpup chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 Very nice story! |
sunrise19 chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 can't login at work lol.. So after spending an afternoon reading an old Disney's Zorro fanfic (no, not from icywaters the one I told you about) I checked my email on the sly on the phone and saw you uploaded this! Yea something to read! I LOVE the twist and I could kick myself for not thinking of it when it comes to the fandom we both love. Unfortunately pretty dead fandom we both love. Anyhow..this was brilliant! I wasn't expecting the twist and I'm grinning due to the spectacular brilliance! The angst tares at you at first. Then the uplifting is realized and it is wonderfully written. Well done my friend! |
SpookyMormonHellDream chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE THIS! Just know that if FFN allowed emojis or other such symbols onto reviews, that this one would solely be a wall of hearts! In other news, let me just say how devastated I was at the beginning of this piece - I really thought, even in spite of reading the description and pairing, that this was going in a completely different direction and my poor little shipper heart was breaking for Erik the entire time. But OH MY GOD that shift when we find out what was actually happening in this scene! So beautiful, and yet so sad that he existed in so much disbelief about his own wedding day. You wrote that aspect of Erik's character so well - that it would be difficult for him to integrate himself into normalcy after living apart from the world his whole life - in a way that was both humanizing and quite endearing. Altogether this was just a lovely and beautifully-written phic. The last lines were gorgeous, and very impactful, and all in all I'm glad you wrote toward this prompt! :D |
