It was probably a good idea to write this in third person, although I understand your doubts. Also you've done an excellent job at it if I may say. Everything is just so perfect. :)

Your intimidation of writing Faye's perspective did not translate at all in the reading; I wouldn't have even guessed! Her personality was balanced really well. Irritation, exasperation, relief, and empathy tied together nicely in this chapter. She's obviously still reeling from Spike's brush with death, but she's handling it in a very Faye way.

That said, Moriah's reaction to the name of their bounty name makes me think that it is a bounty for Reina's father (I can't remember if he was named), one of their own who had gotten captured, or one of their own who went rogue. it didn't really feel like the reaction of finding out that your captives are hunting one of your sworn enemies.

I'm looking forward to seeing Moriah and Faye kicking ass and taking names side by side!

The film playing on the overhead projector is one that I find to be most amusing, good author.

Sincerely hope this one keeps going. It's well written, nice characterizations of both the original cast and the OCs and for gods sake, Jet needs some love! Thanks for writing and here's to hoping!

Omggggggggggggggg so good

Drugged Jet's little flirting is so cute and her responses are fantastic!

I'm really hoping that they are on a ship that's been burried in the sand and converted into a secret bade. That way they'd be on... The Mother Ship.

Ooh, now either Moriah and the Shooter are all part of the same group, or they're from opposite sides of the coin. For now I'm going to assume that the shooter is Cygma. All of the main cast are very much in character, especially Ed. I feel like Ed is often forgotten about, but in this she was constantly reminding the reader of her more than a little off kilter presence, and I adore that.

Of all the things on Jet's list of things to be worried about at that moment, I'm guessing that being shot in the chest by a scantily robed sand vixen wasn't one he'd considered.

I'm finally getting around to reading this!

This first chapter has the exact same tone and texture as an episode, and this right here is exactly how the show should have ended. Everyone back home on the ship, mostly safe and sound.

You continue to do a great job with this story. I agree—Faye is extremely hard to write in-character but I think you captured her pretty darn well here. You continue to capture Ed perfectly as well—no small feat!

I especially loved your description of Spike as a dog who acts like an indicator of how screwed the situation is. Pretty spot on and hilarious!
