This is amazing! I loved everything about this but I do wish this was a multi-chapter story instead of a one-shot tho.

I really hope this isn't a one-shot. Please tell me this is a multi-chapter story! Your entire start is perfection! I love this Caroline. She is my favorite character, tied with Klaus, but in most stories and the show for that matter, while her loyalty was none disputed and strong, she cared WAY TOO MUCH about what others thought of her. Her self-preservation was non-existent, and wasted on friends who couldn't and wouldn't give a crap about her.

Your Caroline though, I like her. While she loves her friends, (or at least I hope she doesn't anymore, after their treatment to her), she values her own life. Her self-confidence needs a few boost, but she realizes she is worth something, and isn't going to let them use her. While I know she wouldn't wish Elena and Bonnie dead, I hope she isn't actively trying to be their friend or save them either. They don't deserve it or her. And Bonnie, just like on the show and in many stories, pisses me off, even more so that regardless of Caroline's moral, the concept of being a real vampire upsets her so. Bonnie threatening to take away the magic on her daylight ring if she slips. Honestly? Bonnie wouldn't last a second as a vampire. Her judgyness irks me beyond belief. The Salvatore's good vampire speech or die is still engrained in her mind. I hate it. I love that Klaus is going to teach her about being a vampire. I hope though that Caroline still keeps him and his family at a distance though. Klaus always likes the challenge, and absence makes the heart grow fonder. Caroline truly wants and is leaving Mystic Falls after graduation (which I love! Wished the real Caroline did that!) and I hope she reminds Klaus that their lessons are going to end as soon as graduation is over.

I hope Caroline keeps a back-bone with Elena and Bonnie. Bonnie is over at Klaus' practicing magic with Kol and Elena is trapped for her blood, so Caroline is bound to run into them. Bonnie is most likely gonna try to use her aneurism on Caroline and hopefully Caroline works through it and puts her in her place. For all her issues with vampires, especially the one she has known all her life, she sure as heck has no problem with being taught by one.

I don't know about Stefan, but he needs to snap out of it, the only person that cares that he is a vampire, is himself. He doesn't want to embrace it or accept it, but instead fight it, so he can be with Elena, who honestly, since she doesn't accept all of him, then she should have none of him. Love me for me, and not the lie I give you. All of me, my parts, good or bad, or None. I honestly prefer Stefan with Rebekah anyway.

I also hope that there will be a Rebekah Caroline friendship. It seems as Rebekah didn't do the whole 'steal your life bit' so their isn't any animosity between them, unless Rebekah decides to behave like a malicious spoiled toddler who isn't getting attention. But Caroline needs friends, genuine friends. Rebekah surely does, and I am sure she is getting tired and bored babysitting a guilty Stefan. Even Caroline being friends with Kol would be cool to see. Plus, more friend time with Caroline, less study time with Bonnie. Bonnie's upset. (Yea, I don't like Bonnie until about the 3rd season or so, when she cuts back on her judgments and is more supportive of my favorite character.)

I can not wait for your second chapter! I hope there will be another one! Some Klaroline banters getting established! Will Katherine be in this? Kat and Care frenemies? Oh! And bravo for killing Damon. No one wants to acknowledge his wrong doings with Caroline, and he doesn't want to change or apologize. Well he deserves to die! Only problem now is, what will Stefan do, when he finds out...?

Love this story! Only one chapter (I HOPE THERE WILL BE MORE) and I am hooked! You are a phenomenal writer with perfection in a chapter. Standing Ovation!

I am very very intrigued by this story and can’t wait to read more. A different start to the mentioned timeline and a different take on the whole plot has made this story a very interesting read already. I’m loving the way you’ve written the characters and their interactions with each other.

I am hooked! This is amazingly well written and in character. I’ll always love Caroline to pieces, and ship her with Klaus. That you’re diverging in this way is something I really Love. Have you ever seen the Jamie Lee Curtis Freaky Friday movie? Well the scene where her little son is mimicing her shouting ecstaticly “woooooooooo!” is what I was like when you had Klaus kill Damon. I am ever hoping writers just have the balls and good sense to kill that bastard off, and to see you did made me incandescent with happiness and satisfaction. What he did to Caroline is inexcusable and she shouldn’t have tolerated that being swept under the rug. Should have got better friends. This is very promising and I hope you continue soon.
