I guess Anne cannot be happy with Henry unless she hardens herself against him and slowly falls out of love with him. Anne needs to have a heart of stone to deal with Henry. Or she will suffer immeasurably and will drive herself to paranoia. I hope that her alliance with Catherine, which I foresee, will happen soon and that Catherine will help Anne understand that Henry loves only himself. |

| Guest chapter 7 . 7/6 Another great chapter. Henry’s as predictable as ever; once a selfish prick, always...well you know lol Hate the position Catherine is in, and sympathizing with Anne as well. Find it so funny how so many reviewers think you have to take a side. Catherine Of Aragon fought for her daughter’s legitimacy and was a great historical figure, as was Anne Boleyn. Honestly, they were both victims of Henry, who were put in crazy, impossible positions, by a megalomaniacal king who destroyed everyone and everything within reach. Okay, end rant lol Great story |
| Art Counterclockwise chapter 7 . 7/5 I generally don’t like Catherine of Aragon, but as it was recommended by Athenais, I read this fiction. Bravo! You managed to make me like her and even to feel for her as Henry’s rage is so terrible in chapter 7 that you cannot help but hate Henry and feel for Catherine. I feel that she could have consummated her marriage to Arthur and loved her crown too much. The shifts in Anne’s mind are great, and I am happy to see her realize that Henry cannot make any woman happy. I am not into the Anne/Henry fictions because I consider them a doomed match. Henry was a man who loved himself above anything else, and he could not make Anne happy. This is my opinion. All his wives were deeply unhappy because of his horrible character. Anne is slowly realizing that Henry will always have mistresses and that she ought to keep silent and wait until he dies and she becomes regent for their son or daughter. I hope Henry will soon be back into Anne’s bed. She needs to conceive another child. I don’t know what you are planning, but I hope that she does not have as many miscarriages as she did have in history. |
